Many Pokemon GO fans look forward to the Community Days every month, giving them a chance to not only catch shinies but also farm a plethora of items. Not only are the shiny rates boosted during the event, but the new moves also give players something more to play for. The recently concluded Bagon Community Day Classic was a hit, with players catching some extremely rare variants of Bagon in Pokemon GO. However, it seems like the month has more exciting stuff to offer, with another big event on the cards.

A Pokemon GO player with incredibly good luck manages to encounter an extremely rare variant of Snorlax, and fans are a bit envious.
While the Pokemon that will be featured on April Community Day might not come as a surprise to many, as Pokemon GO's Brazilian account had accidentally leaked the Pokemon earlier, the other aspects are quite interesting. The Community Day will feature Bellsprout appearing more often in the wild, but alongside that, players will also get a chance to evolve Weepinbell, which is Bellsprout's evolution, to Victreebel during the event to get an event-exclusive fast move, Magical Leaf. This bonus applies up to five hours after the event concludes, so there will be some leeway for players as well.

There is a Community Day Special Research story as well, which can be unlocked by buying a ticket for $1. However, it is the event bonuses that fans hadn't expected, as they will be getting 3x Stardust for catching Pokemon in Pokemon GO. In fact, some players stated that they were planning to skip the event, but this will likely bring them back to the grind.
While the absence of a charged move in Pokemon GO's Bellsprout Community Day has definitely left many disappointed, the fast move shouldn't be taken for granted. Victreebel with Razor Leaf is an extremely popular choice for GO Battle League, but players believe that the addition of Magical Leaf might end up making it the new meta. The prime reason for the shift in meta is the higher energy per second gained on using Magical Leaf as compared to Razor Leaf, which will allow players to use charged moves more often. It remains to be seen how big of an impact it has on the PvP meta.
