The Season of Mythical Wishes is upon Pokemon GO players and there is no shortage of activities to keep trainers busy in the coming three months. For now, many trainers are enjoying the early December 2022 events and getting ready for the big holiday takeover, but it won't be long before January arrives and other month of activities takes over Season 9.
There aren't a lot of details known about January's Pokemon GO activities yet, but the full PvP plans for the season do reveal at least some details. Fans of Pokemon battling can start preparing early for a January GO Battle Weekend which will once again have a Steven Stone-themed reward (like one of the very first GO Battle Weekend's). It's still early, but there are actually a lot of details about the PvP event available.
The event will span a full weekend and offers trainers some fantastic bonuses including 4x Stardust from wins. Stardust is one of the game's most valuable resources, so that reward potential is liking going to draw a lot of battlers into the activities. In addition to that, the Timed Research also includes an Avatar item and the change to snag a guaranteed Elite TM, which is another one of the mobile AR game's most useful and powerful items.

That should be just about everything trainers need to know to prepare for the upcoming Battle Weekend. It would be wise to review the best PvP Pokemon available and start forming a strong roster now to get ahead of the game. Be sure to check back in the near future for more Pokemon GO strategy guides, news, and updates. Until then, good luck out there, trainers!
