The GO Battle League, the competitive, online PvP system of Pokemon GO, will be receiving global leaderboards tomorrow, April 10th. The leaderboard will be available on Niantic's official site for live updates on Pokemon GO, PokemonGOLive.com.

The GO Battle League leaderboards will display the names of the world's top five hundred battlers, along with what team they're on, what Battle League rank they are, their rating, and the total amount of battles they've participated in. These rankings will be updated every day at 8:00 and 10:00 PM UTC, with only players with a Battle League rank of seven or above being eligible for display.

Two days later on April 12th, GO Battle Day: Marill will be live, an event themed around the Water-type Pokemon Marill, and of course, battling Pokemon. From 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM in each user's respective time zone, winning battles in the League will give a chance to encounter Marill, with guaranteed appearances after a player's first and third wins. In addition, Stardust gained upon catching Marills is doubled during the event's runtime.

Lastly, all day on April 12th, the number of total battles players can compete in on a single day will be boosted from twenty-five to one hundred. That means that even for players not interested in Marill, or even the new leaderboards, April 12th is shaping up to be a great day for battling for all Trainers stuck at home.
