Now that April 2022 has arrived, it’s time for Pokemon GO trainers to head out and start enjoying the second month of the Season of Alola. The new month will carry over many of the bonuses and spawns from March, but there is a full April 2022 events calendar to review, as well. As players are out and powering through all of those events, they’ll likely want to complete some field tasks along the way.
This month’s rotation comes mid-season, which means there won’t be a full top to bottom refresh, but there will be a few tweaks to take note of. Regardless of how they feel about this month’s Pokemon GO task rewards, players will likely still want to continue completing tasks on a daily basis to earn those valuable Research Breakthroughs at the end of every seven days. Studying the full list of available tasks and rewards can help inform which quests are the most valuable and which ones can easily be trashed to make room.
The new batch of field research tasks are available today through May 1 and trainers can start picking them up at Pokestops to power through the simple challenges and earn their daily stamps and the associated rewards. There are some decent rewards up for grabs during the Season of Alola, so trainers should have plenty of motivation to continue completing tasks even after they've earned their daily stamp towards the April Research Breakthrough.
