In October of 2025, almost half a decade on since the previous increase, the Pokemon GO level cap was raised from 50 to 80, introducing new rewards and level-up requirements to the popular mobile game. The update also made some changes to the way that existing levels were structured, with the hope being that by rebalancing the existing levels, players will earn levels and rewards more frequently.
