The Pokemon GO A Paldean Adventure Special Research has begun, bringing the adorable Pokemon Scarlet and Violet starters to the game. Along with the new tasks, players will be able to redeem some cool rewards upon completing them.
The latest season of Pokemon GO is called Adventures Abound, which is fitting considering all the new adventures players will be discovering in this new season. A Paldean Adventure is the first big event of the season, bringing all three Scarlet and Violet starters. Also included in this event is pig everyone loves, Lechonk, which is the only new Pokemon that currently has a Shiny variant. Below are all the new special research tasks and rewards.

Pokemon GO: A Paldean Adventure Special Research Tasks and Rewards
After playing the new event for a short period of time, players will get the choice between three different options of who they want to adventure with: Fuecoco, Sprigatito, or Quaxly. Each one will require the trainer to do some things slightly differently. For example, if Sprigatito is selected, players will be required to catch more Grass-type Pokemon. Below are the tasks and rewards players can complete and what rewards they will receive.
Task 1
- Catch 8 Pokemon – 20 Poke Balls
As a reward, players get 900 Stardust and 900 XP. Once this task is complete, players can choose between Sprigatito, Fuecoco, or Quaxly.

Task 2
- Catch 3 Pokemon – 3 Poke Balls
- Take a snapshot of a wild Pokemon – 300 Stardust
Rewards: Sprigatito Encounter, 900 XP
Task 3
- Spin 50 PokeStops or Gyms – 20 Razz Berries
- Catch 200 Pokemon – 15 Pinap Berries
- Send 60 Gifts to friends – 25 Poke Balls
- Evolve a Sprigatito – 1,000 XP
- Earn a heart with your buddy on seven different days – 3,000 Stardust
Rewards: 900 XP and more
Task 4
- Explore 30km – 5 Mysterious Components
- Catch 400 Pokemon – 25 Great Balls
- Earn 40 Candies walking with your Buddy – 9 Golden Razz Berries
- Evolve a Floragato – 2,000 XP
- Visit a PokeStop on 14 different days – 6,000 Stardust
Rewards: Encounter Pawmi and 900 XP

- Explore 80km - 25 Great Balls
- Catch 100 different species of Pokémon - Rocket Radar
- Complete 150 Field Research Tasks - 5 Silver Pinap Berry

- Catch a Pokemon on 14 different days - 9000 Stardust
