A Pokemon GO player has accomplished an impressive feat, hatching twelve 12km eggs at the same time. The rare Pokemon eggs are difficult to acquire and take a lot of walking to hatch, but the notion of hatching 12 at the same time is mind-boggling for much of the Pokemon GO fandom.
Pokemon GO players can grab Pokemon from the wild, in raid battles, through trades, or via eggs. Hatching a Pokemon egg requires using an incubator. While incubating multiple eggs at once makes the most of one's time and movement, doing so requires having multiple incubators, and that can end up being costly or time-consuming all on its own. These factors, as well as some other elements, make this feat even more impressive.
Pokemon GO player Kind_Love172 shared a screenshot of them being prompted that twelve 12km eggs were ready to hatch all at once. The feat wasn't an easy one, as the player not only needed 12 egg incubators to pull this off, but also the inventory space for the eggs themselves. Kind_Love172 followed a specific method to accomplish it. Since 12km eggs can only drop from encounters with Team GO Rocket leaders, the player would never use their Rocket Radar until they had space in their inventory for an egg. This meant selectively hatching any non-12km eggs in-between fights with Team GO Rocket.
Adding further difficulty to the challenge, Kind_Love172 stated they spent no money on the in-game store. They painstakingly collected 12 egg incubators over time, primarily by focusing on acquiring boxes that had more than one incubator with earned in-game currency.
What Did the Twelve 12km Pokemon GO Eggs Contain?
Kind_Love172 hasn't revealed the exact contents of the 12 km eggs, though according to them, the full results were "trash." Kind_Love172 stated that they didn't do this for the actual Pokemon they'd get out of the eggs, but simply wanted to take a screenshot of the massive achievement. The OP did reveal that out of the 12, six were Vullaby, and they didn't get even one Pancham. While the OP might have had better luck hatching the eggs during an event or at least utilizing a Star Piece to increase the amount of Stardust earned from hatching eggs, they seem content in the achievement alone.
Fellow players in the comments were extremely impressed by the player's efforts, though also quite disappointed to hear that nothing good came from the eggs. Like many other aspects of Pokemon GO, the results of hatches like these are largely determined by luck, and 12km eggs have frustrated Pokemon GO players in the past. Anyone who has been considering doing something similar should take Kind_Love172's post as a warning that the results may not be worth the effort.
