A talented Pokemon fan created a low poly figurine of the Gen 2 Pokemon Typhlosion. Their low poly design kept the overall appearance of the figurine extremely simple, yet maintained enough details to keep the Pokemon recognizable to other Pokemon fans.

With the huge community that the Pokemon franchise has created throughout the years, it is no wonder that many fans are sharing their love of the series with incredible art. Over the years, some truly creative art has come from fans of the series, ranging from traditional style digital paintings to incredibly detailed physical models. In light of the fall season, one Pokemon fan even created a Charmander out of pumpkins, creating a truly one of a kind masterpiece. In a similar vein, this other Pokemon fan created a unique figurine of Typhlosion, capturing the Pokemon's design with just a few polygons.

Wailord gets a new evolution thanks to the artistic talents of one fan, and the results put an interesting spin on the Pokemon’s original design.

Shared on their Reddit page, user classyflashy posted their recent low poly figure of Typhlosion. The figurine is made out of hard paper and paper mache and is expertly painted to recreate the Gen 2 Pokemon's design. The creator also shared that the figurine is hollow on the inside and serves as a place for them to store their loose change and earned the title of "Typhlosion Bank" from other users. The piece was extremely well received by other Reddit users due to its design and the community's love of Typhlosion as one of the best Gen 2 Pokemon.

Classyflashy also shared their process for creating the figure in comments of the original post. The user added that they found a template online for the low poly Typhlosion and simply printed out the template, cut the pieces, and assembled them together to create their little figurine. While the design may have been relatively simple, the actual assembly of the Typhlosion figure required some extra patience and care, much like other Pokemon figurines the community has created. However, the user shared that assembling the Typhlosion was still incredibly fun and encouraged other users to give it a shot.

Amazing fan art like this is always great to see from the Pokemon community. With the next Pokemon game in the works, the community has seen an uptick in fan art, specifically in Mega Evolution art. As Pokemon Legends: Z- A will be featuring this mechanic, tons of fans have been creating Mega Evolutions for several Pokemon as a way of sharing their excitement for the next mainline Pokemon game.
