A creative Pokemon fan has recently revealed their concept that reimagines what the Gen 1 Vaporeon would look like in its baby form. Vaporeon is a very popular Water-type Pokemon that appeared in the original Pokemon Red and Blue games back in 1996. Since then, it has been featured in multiple games which made it one of the fan-favorites in the community.
Vaporeon is part of the Eevee evolution line which is a group of Pokemon that can evolve into various forms depending on certain conditions. In the case of most Pokemon games, Eevee can turn into Vaporeon by using a special item called Water Stone that triggers this evolution.
A Reddit user named GeekySAgirl has shared an impressive concept that shows how Vaporeon would look like if it had a baby form. Fans seem to like the overall design as the post attracted over 4k upvotes on the main Pokemon subreddit with many comments claiming that they would not mind if a similar creature appeared in the franchise in the future. Its overall design is inspired by a combination of a variety of aquatic animals. When it comes to its personality, Vaporeon has been portrayed as a very calm Pokemon that can often be swimming gracefully through bodies of water.
One of its greatest advantages is the ability to turn into water and disappear which makes it almost impossible to target it with attacks. Vaporeon is widely considered to be one of the best Water-type Pokemon in the franchise thanks to a powerful combination of high base stats and strong water-based movies. In addition to a versatile moveset, Vaporeon also has very high HP and Special Defense stats making it a tank-like Pokemon, able to sustain a lot of damage and extend the duration of a battle.
Vaporeon has access to a variety of moves including Ice Beam, Shadow Ball, Quick Attack, and many others that make it a very valuable asset for most teams. As a Water-type, it is weak against Grass and Electro Pokemon like Kartana, Xurkitree, or even the fan-favorite Pikachu.
While all the different Eeveelutions have always been extremely popular in the Pokemon fanbase, Game Freak has not added a new one since Generation 6. With Pokemon Scarlet and Violet releasing a new expansion this year, new Pokemon have already been confirmed, and while there is still no information about a new evolution for Eevee, fans still hope for a hidden surprise once it gets released.
