Pretty much throughout the entirety of your experience battling through the ranks of the Z-A Royale in Pokemon Legends: Z-A, you're promised one wish once you reach the coveted Rank A.
It'll take you about 20+ hours to see the whole main story and roll credits, but after that, you will be asked by Vinnie and Jett in the post-game what your one wish is that you want, and they promise it'll be granted as long as it falls in line with what Quasartico can do. But does the choice even change anything in Pokemon Legends: Z-A? Let's get into it below.

There are 42 main missions in Pokemon Legends: Z-A, five of which can only be completed after the end credits have finished rolling.
Pokemon Legends Z-A Wish Choice, Explained
Main Mission 38
Since you and Taunie both managed to reach Rank A, the two of you will get a wish. She'll ask you, "In that case, what do you say?" And you will be presented with three wishes.
However, it doesn't really matter which of the three options you choose. Here are the choices and what happens if you choose them:
- I want us all to battle Pokemon together!
- I want us to live in harmony with Pokemon!
- I want more Pokemon to live in Lumiose!
If you choose the first option, that will progress the dialogue. You'll be able to participate in the Infinite Z-A Royale, so you can continue to fight trainers to earn EXP and rewards (there's also some post-game Pokemon to catch if you battle enough trainers).
If you choose the second option, Lida will comment that Quasartico's whole deal is to do that already, so there's no point in selecting that wish.
If you choose the third option, Vinnie will mention that they've already made 20 Wild Zones filled with Pokemon, so there's no need to have more in Lumiose City.
At the end of the day, the game will return to the three options until you choose the canon pick (the first one), so you don't need to stress about the potential of different endings or consequences to your choices.

You’re invited to join the Z-A Royale, a competition for Pokémon Trainers to test their skills and determine who’s strongest.
Each night, a battle zone for the competition will appear. Prepare yourself by spending the day in wild zones, catching and training Pokémon, then venture into the battle zone and take on other Trainers.
Be strategic and complete bonus card challenges as you battle to speed up your climb from Rank Z to Rank A. Can you climb the ranks and reach the top?
