These profile avatars include a variety of characters, ranging from Lara Croft from the Tomb Raider series to Slimer from the Ghostbusters franchise. PlayStation icon Sly Cooper also makes an appearance as an avatar. These "Days of Play" avatars are available to PS Plus subscribers through a voucher code they can input on their devices.

Codes for these new "Days of Play" avatars are available on the official PS Plus website. Along with new avatars, the list of June PS Plus Essential games was recently revealed. The games coming to PS Plus Essentials in June 2024 are AEW Fight Forever, SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake, and Streets of Rage 4. Sony transformed PS Plus into a three-tiered service in 2022, offering users access to separate categories of games. Sony's PS Plus Essential service includes 3 to 4 games every month, which gamers can download and keep for as long as they remain a member.
Several popular titles will be removed from PS Pus in June, with Grand Theft Auto 5 being one of the biggest titles to depart from the service. Users can expect to play Grand Theft Auto 5 until June 18, when it will be removed from the PS Plus service.
