A gamer sent a graduation party invitation to PlayStation itself, and received a reply, as well as some goodies. The nice gesture has impressed the PlayStation community and has led some fans to thinking of trying the same thing themselves.

Gaming has become such a major part of many people's lives that it's become second nature to include it in celebrations in some way. Gamers have gotten engaged with Poke Balls, celebrated birthdays with Stardew Valley, or spent the minutes before getting wed playing Genshin Impact. Plenty of players also integrate their favorite games into their graduation celebrations, but this one decided to reach out to PlayStation itself.

On Reddit, a user shared their experience sending a graduation party invitation to PlayStation. The fan says that they sent them out to several companies and celebrities, and PlayStation has been the first to reach out in response. The photo they shared shows a congratulatory letter written on PlayStation stationery, which would likely have delighted the fan by itself. However, they were also excited to receive two gifts from PlayStation: A Fortnite Cobalt Star Bundle, which includes eight cosmetics and 1,000 V-Bucks, as well as a code to download a free copy of God of War Ragnarok.

Gamers Start Brewing Plans After PlayStation Response

Numerous other PlayStation fans in the comments have congratulated the OP on their graduation and the response they received. However, the fans have also started thinking up ways of trying to get PlayStation's attention, too. One fan pointed out that another player did something similar to this recently and got the Fortnite bundle, and they appeared in the comments as well, congratulating the OP. With the luck these two gamers have had in soliciting an actual response from PlayStation, others have claimed that they're going to try the same thing, inviting PlayStation to a graduation, birthday, or wedding.

One fan even joked about naming their child Atreus or something else that PlayStation might be impressed by. While that might be a bit outlandish, back when The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim launched, one couple actually did name their child Dovahkiin, which ended up netting them a lifetime supply of Elder Scrolls games. Some fans have worried that if PlayStation gets bombarded by copycat letters, it might stop acknowledging them entirely. Whether that turns out to be the case remains to be seen, but in the meantime, it's a nice gesture from a company that's already given fun experiences and memories to millions.
