The PlayStation Days of Play Sale is back and it's starting soon.  The annual summer sale will start on June 3 this year, running through June 17. As usual, Days of Play 2020 will feature a wide variety of discounts on PlayStation games. This year's sale will also have discounts on PlayStation Plus and PlayStation Now memberships. Specific PlayStation hardware will also be discounted, including the Gold and Platinum wireless PlayStation headsets. Stay tuned for more information about Days of Play soon.

Sony's Days of Play 2020 announcement does list several of the games which will be discounted during the sale. These include both Nioh 2 and MLB The Show 20 for $39.99, Predator: Hunting Grounds, Death Stranding, and Dreams for $29,99, Days Gone, MediEvil, and Blood & Truth for $19.99, Everbody's Golf VR for $14.99, and Astro Bot Rescue Mission and Farpoint for $9.99. These are some major discounts on some relatively new game releases.

Additionally, Sony will be discounting many of its PlayStation Hits titles. These are major PS4 releases that are already available at great prices. The one game mentioned is The Last of Us Remastered, perfect to prepare for the upcoming launch of The Last of Us Part 2. PlayStation Hits prices will start at $9.99.

The two subscription discounts are also likely to be very popular. A 12-month subscription for PlayStation Plus will be discounted 30% for the sale. A 12-month subscription typically retails for $59.99, so hopefully it'll drop to just $40. PlayStation Now, Sony's game streaming service, will also be discounted. 12 months will be 30% off while 3 months will be 20% off.

For those hoping for a new headset, select Gold Wireless Headsets will be priced at $69.99. Gold headsets typically retail for $99.99. The PlayStation Platinum Wireless Headset will be priced at $129.99. It typically retails for $159.99. Buyers should probably check Amazon and other retailers first, though, because these headsets are often discounted heavily.

Those hoping for a discount on an actual PS4 or a PS4 Pro console look to be let down this year. For whatever reason, Sony's deigned not to feature any discounts for its console hardware, though that could change with the sale's start. Last year's Days of Play sale didn't have any console discounts either, though, so this may just be the way it is. At least this way the choice of waiting for a PS5 later this year is made that much easier.

The PlayStation Days of Play Sale lasts from June 3 through June 17.
