Earlier this month, the PlayStation Store opened its Spring Sale, which offered some deep discounts on some of the biggest games on the PS4. As promised, Sony expanded the list of games that are eligible for the sale and offers even more amazing titles that players can now get at a cheaper price. It is worth noting that all discounts will only be available until April 28th, so players interested should take advantage now while the deals are still available.
Headlining the new additions for Sony's Spring Sale is Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Breakpoint. Originally, Ghost Recon Breakpoint retailed for $59.99, but the PlayStation Store's Spring Sale is offering a 67% discount, reducing the price of the game to $19.79. The game takes place in an open-world environment called Aurora, which is a fictional island located in the Pacific Ocean. Players take control of Lieutenant Colonel Anthony "Nomad" Perryman, who is sent to the island to investigate mysterious disturbances.
Upon its release last year, Ghost Recon Breakpoint was received with mixed reviews and developer Ubisoft promised players that it will introduce post-launch DLCs and updates to improve the game. Last March 24, Ubisoft released The Ghost Experience, which provides players with a more realistic experience that resembles previous Ghost Recon games. The new Immersive mode is also highly customizable, allowing players to use only one weapon throughout a campaign.

Another notable title that was recently added in the PlayStation Store's Spring Sale is Marvel's Spider-Man: Game of the Year Edition. This special version of the game is available for $39.95, which is 42% cheaper than its original price of $69.95. The GOTY Edition features new missions and challenges, new factions of enemies from the Spider-Man universe, and more suits to unlock.
Although Marvel's Spider-Man recently joined Sony's PlayStation Now, it is still worth picking up for players who are not subscribed to the streaming service and have been holding off purchase of the game until a significant price decrease. During its release back in 2018, Marvel's Spider-Man was received with mostly positive reviews given its immersive story and innovative web-slinging mechanic that is never-before-seen in a Spider-Man game.
