Nintendo is bringing the colorful worlds and characters of Super Mario Bros. Wonder, Princess Peach: Showtime, Pokemon, and more to fans across the United States this summer with the Play Nintendo Tour, a fun-filled promotion featuring games and activities based on some of the Big N’s most popular franchises. Nintendo is no stranger to having its games come to life in theme parks and other live venues, thanks to attractions like Super Nintendo World at Universal Epic Universe and the reportedly planned PokePark Kalos and PokePark Paldea in Europe.
Nintendo of America has just announced that it will hold a special promotional event featuring popular Nintendo characters like Mario, Princess Peach, Donkey Kong, and Pikachu in major US cities from June 13 to September 2. Dubbed the Play Nintendo Tour, this promotion will be free to attend and allow young fans and their parents to share photo opportunities with their favorite Nintendo mascots, win prizes, and even try out some of the latest Nintendo Switch titles at playable demo kiosks.
Nintendo of America Makes Change to Its Headquarters
Fans notice that Nintendo of America recently made a small change to its longstanding headquarters located in Redmon, Washington.
Some of the more specific activities at the upcoming Play Nintendo Tour include a photo-op with Luigi ahead of Luigi's Mansion 2 HD’s launch on June 27, playable demos of Super Mario Bros. Wonder and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe (alongside its Booster Course Pass DLC), and a fun photo-op with Tom Nook and Isabelle from Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Fans of Princess Peach: Showtime can take to the red carpet alongside the titular heroine before sampling her latest theater-inspired adventure, while aspiring Pokemon masters can hang out with Pikachu and learn about some of the powerful new creatures to be caught in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.
