Fans of the rhythm-based first-person shooter Pistol Whip will soon be able to share the game with even more of their friends, as it now has a confirmed release date of July 28th for PSVR. This means that PlayStation users will only have to wait for a little over a month before jumping in on the fun.
For those unaware, Pistol Whip was already available on PC based VR rigs, and PlayStation fans have been waiting for a quite a while to get their hands on it. Now that a concrete release date has been set, it doesn't seem so far away anymore.
Players will have to foster both their aiming and movement in Pistol Whip as they dodge bullets, shoot enemies, and pistol whip assailants all to the beat of some nice dubstep. The gameplay itself is super fun, and it is even engaging to watch this VR game as well.
Pistol Whip is frequently updated, and a roadmap was recently revealed which details all the new content coming to the game soon. For this reason, PSVR players will certainly have a lot to keep them busy should they decide to purchase a copy of the game.
