I've been playing around with a lot of different themed decks in Pokemon TCG Pocket, but the one that has been giving me the most wins online has definitely been my Pikachu ex deck. Just today alone, I hopped online to try out a few matches, and I won six matches in a row with this bad boy. Now, this may not be the ultimate, S-tier best deck ever that includes Pikachu ex, but this one is a fantastic one to start with (at least, I think so).
What's the Rarest Pokemon Card in Your Collection?
It saddens me that this card has since been lost, but without a doubt, the rarest card I have ever owned is a Japanese Neo Genesis Lugia holo, which currently has a TCGPlayer value of $84.95 for a heavily played card and several hundred dollars for one at decent-to-good quality. Of course, I was just a kid at the time I came into possession of this card and had no idea of the value it would gain over time. Even though I tried to take care of it because it was a 'shiny' (holo) and Legendary Pokemon, this one sadly took some damage over the years and was eventually lost. Aside from that, I also currently own good condition copies of some holos from Base Set, Jungle, and Neo sets, as well as a solid handful of full arts and holos from XY Evolutions that have significantly gone up in value/rarity.
Pikachu Ex Deck Build in Pokemon TCG Pocket
Using exburst.dev, I've lined up my deck in the image above. But I will also share a list below that includes the cards and the booster packs they can be found in. I debated whether to add a Zapdos to the party and remove one of the Pikachu, but the risky nature of Zapdos ex's Thundering Hurricane is too much to deal with. With Pikachu ex and three Electric types on the bench, you can guarantee at least 90 damage.

Some things to take note of when it comes to using this Pikachu ex deck:
- Always make sure the bench is full of Electric types when Pikachu ex is set to take the active spot. You want to ensure maximum damage.
- Use Magneton's ability to get extra Energy just in case Pikachu ex gets kicked out of the active spot, and you need a Pokemon that can Retreat easily.
- If there are weak/susceptible Pokemon on the opponent's bench, use Zebstrika's power to damage them. Sometimes, knocking out a weak, retreated Pokemon is faster than attempting to beat a powerful one in the active zone.
- Sabrina is a great card when your foe has a strong opponent on the field or if there's a Pokemon on the opponent's Bench that you think would be easier to take out.
- Please watch out for decks with Fighting-type Pokemon. Obviously, this deck might not be fit for that due to the extra damage your Pokemon will take (+20).
