Why Persona 6's Latest Protagonist Rumors Could Be Highly Controversial If True

Persona 3 Reload continued an embattled Atlus protagonist trend, and P6 following the same route could trigger a press storm for the developer.

As posted on Twitter, Sega might have plans to release new Persona titles, remakes, remasters, DLC expansions, and other media annually. This would add considerably to the already 20-titles strong Persona library, allowing fans plenty of playable content for a long time to come. Sega has yet to make an official announcement. Fans are currently awaiting the release of Persona 6 and the rumored remakes of the first two Persona titles.

Sega May Be Making Its Big Franchises Annual

According to the rumor, Sega is also considering annual content for other titles such as Like a Dragon and Sonic. While more content for these games is welcomed, fans of Persona are eager to see what they can expect, including aspects of the series such as romances between characters in Persona.

The rumor is unconfirmed for now, but hopefully Sega reveals more soon.
