Persona 5: The Phantom X may be a free-to-play video game, but that doesn't mean players can't spend real money while playing. Persona 5: The Phantom X often tries to draw players' attention to the shop with special discounts and limited-time deals, but are any of them actually worth buying?
If you've played a gacha game before, then you probably know that some of the store bundles featured in such titles aren't always worth it. There are some hidden gems in P5X's shop, though, especially if you only need a few more pulls to reach pity on your favorite character's banner. Generally, you should save your Meta Jewels for important things like pulls, but if you have some extra cash, you can score some great deals in Persona 5: The Phantom X.
How to Get All Free Pulls in Persona 5 Phantom X (Summons)
Persona 5: The Phantom X is celebrating its launch by rewarding F2P players with over 200 free pulls, here's how to gradually unlock them.
What Bundles Are Worth Buying in P5X?
The best bundles in Persona 5: The Phantom X are the limited-time deals that can only be purchased once before they're gone for good. The standard top-ups and resource bundles aren't that great of a value proposition, so you can safely ignore those. These are the P5X shop bundles you should be buying if you have Meta Jewels to spare:
- Marthym's Rewards Card
- Monthly Platinum Set
- Platinum Set 2
- Chapter 1 Clear Pass
Of everything in the shop, Marthym's Rewards Card is hands-down the best deal in Persona 5: The Phantom X. As long as you remember to log into the game daily, it's the cheapest way to get Meta Jewels. The initial purchase is $4.99 and includes 300 Cognition Crystals, but you'll get 100 Meta Jewels and a Coffee Candy when you log in every day for the next 30 days. Other gacha players rave about these rewards passes, and P5X's daily login bonuses are just as good.
If you need some extra Platinum Tickets for limited pulls, then the Monthly Platinum Set and Platinum Set 2 offer the best value. Platinum Set 2 is the best overall deal, but you can only buy it once per account. For $29.99, you get 30 Platinum Tickets and a bunch of XP materials. That's basically a dollar per pull and some bonuses on top. The Monthly Platinum Set is slightly worse, offering 20 Platinum Tickets and 1000 Meta Jewels for $32.99, but it can be bought multiple times.
For a smaller purchase, the Chapter 1 Clear Pass is a surprisingly good deal. You get access to it after clearing Kiuchi's Palace and finishing the first chapter of P5X's main story, but you only have a few days to buy it before it leaves the shop forever.
For $3.99, it comes with 240 Cognition Crystals and some daily login bonuses. After 7 days, you'll end up with 300 Meta Jewels, two Coffee Aids, and two MaraThon Energy drinks. These should give you a nice boost to push you toward your next 10-pull or help you grind materials without worrying about energy limits.
