While exploring the ninth floor of the Thebel Block in Tartarus, you might come across enemies of the Lovers Arcana called Obsessed Cupids. At first glance, the baby archers might not look that menacing, but nailing down the correct Affinity to use on the Obsessed Cupids can be tricky for players, especially Persona 3 Reload newbies. However, using this handy guide, you can learn the weaknesses of Obsessed Cupid and how to take care of them quickly.
6 Beginner Tips For Persona 3 Reload
Looking to start Persona 3 Reloaded for the first time? Here are a few key things to keep in mind.
Obsessed Cupid Weakness in P3R
Bufu (Ice)
That's right. The Obsessed Cupid demon in Persona 3 Reload is weak to one thing and one thing only: Ice. It also has one Affinity that it resists: Wind. The cupids can cast Garu, a low-impact Wind spell, so it makes sense that they would be resistant.

At this point in the early-game, the Ice-casting spell, Bufu, might not be accessible to you. Takeba and Junpei will not have Ice skills at their disposal. We managed to have Bufu by acquiring the Nekomata Persona. We used the Velvet Room to fuse together Orpheus and Asparas, taking the latter's Bufu skill as an inheritance. Of course, you should be good to use Bufu if you can manage to get Asparas on your roster.
Make sure to use All Out Attacks to go into Shuffle Time once the battle ends --you can get new Personas this way.
If you're wondering how to fuse demons, you can enter the Velvet Room from a couple of places, including the downstairs waiting area of Tartarus --in the same area as the clock and where the squad hangs out. Mixing two demons together will likely produce a more powerful monster that can inherit skills from the monsters used for the procedure.
