Those who've played Persona 5/Royal or have a familiar understanding of P5 and its many spinoffs will recognize Hecate. She is Ann Takamaki's ultimate Persona, and she'll replace Carmen after reaching Rank 10 of the Lovers Confidant in P5/Royal. In Persona 3 Reload, Hecate won't appear in the compendium of the base game. If you want Hecate, you'll need to buy the Royal Set DLC, which comes with all the Phantom Thieves' second-tier Personas. Hecate in Persona 3 Reload still excels in Magic and Agi/Fire Abilities, and you'll want to equip her with the right Skills if you're serious about building her for mid/late-game.

How to Get Hecate in Persona 3 Reload

DLC & Fusion Recipes

persona 3 reload hecate description

Hecate can be summoned from the compendium for a free, first-time purchase. However, you'll need to buy the Persona 5 Royal Persona Set 2 in order for her to appear in Persona 3 Reload. The price for the Persona 5 Royal Persona Set 2 is $5.99. Once you've done this, you can get Hecate in the Velvet Room.

Another way is to obtain Hecate from Fusions. This way, you'll be able to transfer Skills that Hecate normally wouldn't get. * Some low-level Fusion Recipes for Hecate are:

What Skills Are Best for Hecate?

General Information About Hecate

persona 3 reload hecate skills

Hecate's starting level is 44, and this can be increased if you Fuse her after you've started the Lovers (Yukari Takeba) Social Link. If this is your first time summoning/fusing Hecate, then your level won't matter. Afterwards, you'll have to be Hecate's level or higher to summon her from the compendium again.

Hecate starts off with a powerful Magic stat and moderate stats in everything else. Her low Strength means she's not good for using Slash/Pierce/Strike Skills. Her innate Skill, Blazing Hell, is great for Downing enemies with a Fire-Affinity weakness. However, you'll want to be careful if you're just starting your playthrough. Hecate's Magic Skills have a high SP cost, which means she's better to use when you have more SP-recovering items and when you're at a higher level (recommended level: mid-40s).

Here are the skills she learns and her affinities:

  • Since Hecate will be dishing out magic, it's recommended to have Invigorate 2 (or 3). This restores SP to the user every turn, making it highly useful in longer fights. You can get Invirograte 2 as a Skill Card at Mayoido Antiques. Invigorate 3 is a Skill Card in Shuffle Time that appears as the 9 of Swords.
  • Spell Master is another highly recommended Skill. This will halve the cost of SP-skills, making it incredibly worthwhile. Spell Master can be obtained from Mayoido Antiques by trading in 7 Opals and 7 Diamonds.
  • You can swap out Stagnant Air for Ailment Boost. This increases the chance of inflicting Charm when using Sexy Dance. The reason why Ailment Boost may be preferred over Stagnant Air is because it doesn't affect your teammates. However, Skills that inflict status ailments aren't very useful on bosses, so if you're planning to take Hecate with you for Full Moon Operations, you may want to get rid of Sexy Dance + Stagnant Air.
  • You can get the Resist Ice Skill Card from the 8 of Swords in Shuffle Time. Using this on Hecate will get rid of her Ice-Affinity weakness. Alternatives to this are Evade Ice, which increases the evasion rate to incoming Ice Skills.
