Greedy Shadows are another form of rare shadows that appear in the higher levels of Tartarus in Persona 3 Reload. Once you catch them, you'll find yourself reaping a ton of benefits.

However, these shadows, similar to rare shadows like the Supreme Hand, have the ability to run away in battle if you don't finish them off quickly enough. You'll need to target their weaknesses to ensure you can get ahold of them in time. Here's how you can take down the Bold Checkmate, found within the Tziah Block of Tartarus.

Where to Find Bold Checkmate in Persona 3 Reload

To locate the Bold Checkmate Greedy Shadow, you'll need to visit the Tziah Block in Tartarus. Specifically, we were able to find it in the lower levels of the Tziah Block, from Floor 119 to 144.

You'll know almost immediately after arriving at a floor if you're going to come across a Greedy Shadow or not. A cutscene will play, showing the Greedy Shadow running away from you and your party. You'll need to search for it by choosing the correct directions that the shadow took. If you successfully find it, you'll be able to fight it and receive all the stolen treasure it has.

To increase your chances of coming across a Rare Shadow or Greedy Shadow, visit the Fortune Teller and get a Rarity Fortune for 3,000 Yen.

Persona 3 Reload: Fleetfooted Cavalry Boss Guide

The Fleetfooted Cavalry is a tough boss within Tartarus in Persona 3 Reload. Here are its weaknesses, and some strategies you can use to take it down.

Bold Checkmate Weakness in Persona 3 Reload

After you've successfully caught yourself a Bold Checkmate enemy, here are the weaknesses and resistances you can target:

Weak: Slash, Strike

With this information in mind, you'll want to make sure you bring along party members who focus mainly on dealing Physical damage. Elemental damage can also be used against it, but it won't be as effective as Physical attacks. A few characters you can bring along with you who can deal powerful Physical damage include Aigis, who can use attacks like Swift Strike or Heat Wave, and Junpei, who uses mostly Physical attacks, like Gigantic Fist or even Brave Blade.

After battling Bold Checkmate a few times, we've noticed that it has two skills that it uses frequently: Eigaon and Tarukaja. Eigaon will deal Dark damage to one foe, so you'll want to avoid using any Personas that are weak to this element, like Ken Amada's Persona. Tarukaja can increase an ally's attack, so it's a good idea to use a debuff skill to lower its attack, such as Akihiko's Matarunda skill. You can also bring along a few consumables that can debuff the enemy.
