Dancing Hands are a type of "hands" Shadow that can be fought in Persona 3 Reload. While they look similar to Wealth and Treasure Hands, the Dancing Hands enemies have a different Affinity weakness than their rarer counterparts. Fortunately, you start off with a Persona in Persona 3 Reload that can exploit this and make it easier to trigger an All-Out Attack. If you lost this Persona via Fusion, then you'll need to rely on one of your teammates' Skills if you're someone who prefers to target a Shadow's weakness at the start of battle.

You'll start to see Dancing Hand enemies in the early floors (23-43) of Arqa Block in Tartarus, but your first encounter with them will be during the Full Moon Operation in May. If you're familiar with fighting Magic Hands, then you'll already know how to defeat Dancing Hands. The Dancing Hands have an Affinity weakness to Fire and resistance to Ice. The ones you encounter in the Arqa Block will be around level 13.

Dancing Hands may prefer to attack with Affinity Skills rather than their Strike Attacks (melee). Their Magic is stronger than their Attack, and their moderate Agility and Endurance means they can out-speed your slower Personas and teammates. To avoid them exploiting your team's Affinity Weaknesses, you'll want to knock them down as soon as you can.

How to Get Fire Skills

Which Persona Has Agi?

If you still have Orpheus, you can use Agi to Down a Dancing Hand. If you have Maragi, you can hit all opponents at once. If you don't have Orpheus, then you can use Junpei's Persona instead. However, keep in mind that Junpei's Magic stat isn't that great, so you might not inflict as much damage as you would with one of the protagonist's Personas.

The following Personas can be obtained in the early stage of Persona 3 Reload and have an innate Agi or Maragi skill:

  • Orpheus (Fool)
  • Berith (Hierophant)
  • Jack-o'-Lantern (Magician)
  • Nekomata (Magician)
  • Lilim (Devil)

You can also teach Agi Skills to other Personas by using a Skill Card. These are potential rewards for Shuffle Time, represented by the Suit of Swords. However, Skill Cards are not always present in Shuffle Time, and you'll only get Shuffle Time if you manage to land the final blow with an All-Out Attack. Thus, the more-reliable method of defeating Dancing Hands will be through Personas with innate Agi/Maragi or Hermes (Junpei's Persona).
