Nearly every Shadow in Persona 3 Reload has an Affinity weakness. Targeting this weakness will Down the enemy, opening them up to an All-Out Attack. As you climb higher in Tartarus, you'll run into gatekeeper bosses with several Affinity resistances and no weaknesses. One example of these bosses is the Arcanist Decapitator, a gatekeeper boss on the first half of the Yabbashah Block. You'll unlock the first half of the Yabbashah Block on July 18th in Persona 3 Reload.
Persona 3 Reload: Fanatic Tower Weakness
Taking on Fanatic Tower in Persona 3 Reload won't be a walk in the park. Here's how to defeat the Monad Door boss.
Where to Find Arcanist Decapitator
Yabbashah Block (First Half)
You will find the Arcanist Decapitator on 82F of the Yabbashah Block in Tartarus. It is the second gatekeeper boss on the first half of Yabbashah, followed by the Ochlocratic Sands gatekeeper. You'll want to use the teleporter on the 82nd Floor to warp back to the entrance and rearrange your team. You can also use this time to Fuse or Summon Personas that will help you battle the Arcanist Decapitator.
How to Beat Arcanist Decapitator
Arcanist Decapitator Weakness
The Arcanist Decapitator has no weaknesses and nulls Ice and Wind. This means you'll want to focus on hitting him with physical attacks and try to score a critical hit. The Arcanist Decapitator is accompanied by the Heat Overseer and the Sky Overseer. These Shadows have the following weaknesses/resistances:

Although the Arcanist Decapitator will shake off Wind and Ice Skills, you'll want to target the Heat Overseer and Sky Overseer's weaknesses. This means you should bring a balanced team that can hit all Affinity weaknesses. Bring Yukari, Mitsuru, and Akihiko. As for the protagonist, you can have him equipped with Personas that can buff/debuff or excel in Physical Skills. You may also want to have the protagonist with a Persona that uses Wind Skills to back up Yukari, who will be focused mainly on healing.
Have Fuuka cast Sylphid Aura before diving into the boss fight. This will raise your team's Defense and Accuracy/Evasion for the first three turns.
Make sure you're targeting the right enemy with the right Affinity Skill. You don't want to accidentally heal an Overseer. When you manage to Down one Overseer, use the Shift feature to have someone target the other Overseer's weakness. Instead of going for an All-Out Attack, use the 1 More to attack an already-Downed enemy, or focus your attacks on the Arcanist Decapitator. For this fight, you may want to take out the Sky Overseer and Heat Overseer before going after the Arcanist Decapitator.
The Arcanist Decapitator can use Agi-Skills, so if you're using Mitsuru, equip her with Accessories that have Evade/Dodge Fire, or something that reduces Fire damage. You'll also need the same for the protagonist if he's using a Persona with a Fire-Affinity weakness.
You can also use Akihiko to raise Attack with Tarukaja, or Yukari's Sukukaja to increase Accuracy/Evasion. Mitsuru has Rakunda, which will lower the Defense of a target for 3 turns. If you have the Revolution Skill, you can cast this to increase the critical hit rate of all allies and enemies. Since the Overseers and Arcanist Decapitators use Magic Skills, you won't have to worry about them scoring a critical hit with physical attacks.
