How To Get the Arborist Badge in PEAK

To get the Arborist Badge, you need to reach the top of a very tall tree in the Tropics biome. Look for massive trees with tall, slender stems and umbrella-like leaves clustered at the top. If a tree looks unusually tall and seems to have platforms or branches spaced out like steps, it’s probably the one.

You’ll often need to detour from the main path to find these trees. They may also have some luggage or gear hanging from their branches.

When you’re climbing the three, make sure to use stamina carefully as you jump from branch to branch, taking breaks when possible. Sometimes, these tall trees are conveniently located near cliffs or ledges. In such cases, you can scale the rocks beside the tree and drop or walk onto its higher branches, bypassing much of the climb. It’s a clever way to save stamina and time.

Once you reach the highest point of the tree, the Arborist Badge will automatically unlock.

Of course, this will take many playthroughs depending on the island layout and your starting location. Since island generations in PEAK are randomized, you may not always get the right tree formation. Don’t get discouraged if you can’t get the badge on your first few runs.

How to Unlock Realistic Eyes in PEAK

All badges reward you with a unique cosmetic item in PEAK. The reward for earning the Arborist Badge is the Realistic Eyes cosmetic. As soon as you reach the highest point of the tree, the Realistic Eyes will be available in your character customization options (Passport).

Once you’ve completed your run, you’ll be taken back to the main airport lobby. In the lobby, press 1 to open your Passport. This is where you manage your scout’s appearance and view your earned badges.

Inside the Passport menu, scroll through the categories until you find Facial Features. Scroll through your available cosmetic options and select Realistic Eyes. Once equipped, your character’s eyes will instantly update with the new look.
