The Lone Wolf Badge in PEAK is a true test of survival. It is awarded to players who manage to successfully escape the island while playing entirely solo. Going solo means no backup, no teammates to revive you, and no second chances if things go wrong. It’s one of the toughest (but most satisfying) achievements in the game. Even though it feels daunting, with preparation, the right gear, and a smart strategy, this challenge is absolutely doable. This guide covers the best tips to help you complete your solo run and get the Lone Wolf Badge in PEAK.

If you've been wondering what to do with the oversized, fragile Big Eggs in PEAK, this guide can help.
How To Get the Lone Wolf Badge in PEAK
To get the Lone Wolf Badge, you need to escape the island solo. This means playing in a single-player, offline mode. You can't just have your friends die and then escape by yourself; you have to be the only person in the game from beginning to end.
Tip #1 – Stack Bonus Stamina Early
Start your run by building up as much bonus stamina as you can. Look for coconut trees near the crash site, cook a few, and eat them early. It’s okay to save one or two for later, but don’t be afraid to use the rest to boost your stamina bar early on in PEAK.
Throughout the climb, load up on Sports Drinks and Big Lollipop to keep stacking that stamina. Even if you’re not immediately running low, having a stamina buffer can be a lifesaver in tough sections.
Another great tip is to spend that bonus stamina if it helps you avoid risky paths. Sometimes, the safer route takes more energy, but that’s better than risking a jump or climb that could end your run. This is especially true in the Tropics, where rain and tricky terrain can really mess up your plans.
Tip #2 – Take Your Time On the Run
Even though you shouldn’t stay idle for too long, moving too fast can lead to careless mistakes. Take a moment before each big climb or jump to look around and plan your route. There’s almost always a safe path forward, even when things don’t look promising.
If the cliffs are filled with hazards, look for creative alternatives. For example, try climbing trees, balancing across roots, or even using vines to zip across to safer ground. Just remember, a single fall can end your run, as you have no one to revive you in PEAK.
Tip #3 – Don’t Hoard Items, Use Them
It’s easy to fall into the habit of saving your best items “for later.” But in a solo run, every moment matters, and holding onto items too long can actually hold you back.
If you need to use a Chain Launcher just to reach a tricky ledge, use it. If a tall wall has you stuck and a Big Lollipop might get you over it, use it. You’re not sharing gear with anyone, and the mountain is full of lootable luggage that can restock you quickly.
Use what you find to stay alive and moving, because there’s a good chance the item you use to make progress will be replaced soon after.
Normally, the Ancient Statue is used to revive fallen teammates, but when you’re climbing solo, it rewards you with a random Mythical Item at the end of each biome. All you need to do is make it to the campfire at the end of a region and interact with the statue nearby.
Tip #4 – Learn the Hazards by Biome
On a solo run, you need to be very aware of your surroundings and the best path forward. The more you play, the better you'll get at identifying good routes and avoiding dead ends. Each biome in PEAK introduces new threats. Knowing what to expect will help you avoid painful setbacks:
With no one to heal you, a single negative status effect can be a run-ender. Steer clear of poisonous berries, sea urchins, and icy patches. Unlike a multiplayer run where you can rely on a teammate to carry you, here you have no such luxury.
