PEAK has over 30 unique achievement badges you can earn throughout your climb. Each of these badges is tied to a specific challenge or objective. One of these is the Gourmand Badge, an achievement that rewards players not for how high they climb, but for what they eat along the way. This guide breaks down everything you need to do to get the Gourmand Badge in PEAK.

How To Get the Gourmand Badge in PEAK

To get the Gourmand Badge, you’ll need to find and eat four specific food items during your climb in PEAK. There’s no required order, but each item must be cooked (either over a campfire or with a portable stove) for it to count toward the achievement. Here’s what you need to consume:

  • Coconut Halves
  • Honeycomb
  • Yellow Winterberries
  • Egg

Once you've eaten all four required items, your final step is to reach the island’s summit and escape using the helicopter.

How to Get Coconut Halves in PEAK

Coconut halves can be found in the Shore and Tropics biomes, growing on palm trees. You'll collect them as whole coconuts first. To split them in halves, simply throw the coconut with at least half the strength, and it will break into two pieces. Once you have the halves, cook them over a campfire, such as the one near the crashed plane wing, and then eat them.

How to Get Honeycombs in PEAK

Honeycombs come from beehives, which can be tricky to collect, especially when you're alone. In group runs, the easiest method is to have one player lure the bees away once the hive is disturbed. While the bees are chasing that person, the other players can safely grab the beehive and break it open to collect Honeycombs.

How to Get Yellow Winterberries in PEAK

Yellow Winterberries are one of the rarer food items in PEAK, making them a bit trickier to find. While they can occasionally spawn on Orange Winterberry trees, the more reliable method is to track down capybaras.

Capybara locations change with each new daily island, so their exact spawn points won’t always be the same. You’ll need to explore a bit in the Alpine biome, where they most commonly appear.

How to Get Eggs in PEAK

To find eggs, you’ll need to make it to the Caldera biome, which is the fourth region of the climb. Keep an eye out for bird nests scattered across the rocky peaks. Once you find an Egg, crack it open. After that, simply cook the egg over a campfire or portable cooker before eating it.
