The Roots update for PEAK has introduced 11 new badges, each connected to the strange plants, glowing fungi, and secrets of the new biome. One of the most interesting ones is the Mycoacrobatics Badge. This badge pushes your understanding of PEAK’s quirky movement system and requires you to bounce 40 meters high off a mushroom.
It sounds easy, but reaching that kind of altitude needs some serious planning, timing, and a little bit of creativity. This guide will show you how to hit that 40-meter bounce mark and claim your Mycoacrobatics Badge in PEAK.
PEAK: All Cosmetics & How to Get Them
To help players stand out from one another in PEAK, they can customize their characters with awesome cosmetics. Here's how to get them.
How to Get the Mycoacrobatics Badge in PEAK
While you can try using any of the glowing red mushrooms scattered across the Roots biome to get the Mycoacrobatics Badge, there are two much better techniques to hit the height requirement quickly.
Jumping on Big Red Mushrooms
The easiest and most reliable way to earn this badge is by climbing to a high spot and jumping onto one of the large red mushrooms in PEAK. Once you spot a big red mushroom in the Roots biome, jump onto it and aim to land right in the center.
Make sure to keep bouncing on the same mushroom. Each bounce will send you higher until you eventually reach the 40-meter height. It’s the most reliable and beginner-friendly way to secure the badge.
While many players suggest opening and holding the parasol while jumping on the same mushroom to earn this badge, we’ve tested it ourselves and didn’t have much luck with that method.
Using Bounce Fungus

Another way is by using the Bounce Fungus, a new item found in the Roots biome. When you place it on the ground, it’ll grow into a bouncy mushroom pad. To use it, climb to a decent height and drop straight onto the Bounce Fungus. As soon as you land, press space to boost yourself even higher.
Be careful, as jumping too early or too late will result in a weak bounce, while dropping from too high will cause you to take fall damage or even die before the badge registers. The sweet spot is a controlled fall from medium height, landing directly in the center of the Bounce Fungus and hitting space at the right moment.
If done correctly, you’ll soar high enough to trigger the 40-meter height requirement and immediately unlock the Mycoacrobatics Badge.
Mycoacrobatics Badge Rewards
When you reach 40 meters, the Mycoacrobatics badge will unlock right away. You’ll also get the Fairy Hat and Fairy Outfit as rewards. These magical-looking items match the glowing, mystical vibe of the Roots biome perfectly.
