Following the success of 2013’s Path of Exile, which received raving reviews, especially regarding its gameplay and atmosphere, developer Grinding Gear Games announced a sequel to further expand its universe. With a brand-new skill system, passive abilities, 12 character classes, 19 new Ascendancy Classes, additional weapons, a new six-act campaign, and over 100 endgame maps, Path of Exile 2 packs a large amount of content in a game that will remain free-to-play, according to its developer.
