Flower Points (FP) are what you need to perform attacks such as Shell Slam, but this can be a problem if you're not leveling up your FP or if your FP is low. In the beginning chapters of Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, you'll likely use FP-replenishing items such as Maple Syrup or Honey Syrup. As you near the midgame and endgame phase of Thousand-Year Door, you'll want to stock up on items that restore more than 5 or 10 FP. This is where Jammin' Jelly can come in handy, which restores a large amount of FP.

Every Place You Can Find Jammin' Jelly
How Much Does Jammin' Jelly Cost?
Your main method of obtaining Jammin' Jelly will be to purchase it. Unfortunately, it's one of the more-expensive items, but if you have the Coins to spare, it's worth the price. Jammin' Jelly can be bought from the following:
- Charlieton occasionally sells Jammin' Jelly for 120 Coins, but only if he's in Rogueport. This is the lowest price you will find for Jammin' Jelly in TTYD.
- Deepdown Depot, located in Rogueport Underground, sells Jammin' Jelly for 200 Coins.
- Pianta Parlor will sell one Jammin' Jelly for 80 Pianta Coins.
Another way to get Jammin' Jelly is to defeat Elite Wizzerds or Amazy Dayzees. Otherwise, you'll have to find Jammin' Jelly hidden in the overworld. You can find a Jammin' Jelly in a hidden block in the Keelhaul Key Jungle. There's also a Jammin' Jelly locked away in Twilight Town's storage room. Finally, you can get Jammin' Jelly by cooking a Point Swap and Ultra Mushroom together.

In Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, Inky Sauce is a good FP-restoring item, but it can also be used in cooking, so here's how you can get it.

How to Use Jammin' Jelly
Jammin' Jelly can be used in or outside battle. Since Mario and the active partner share the FP gauge, you can use it on either character. When used, Jammin' Jelly restores 50FP.
You can also cook Jammin' Jelly to create a potentially stronger HP and/or FP-restoring item. The "stronger" recipes can only be made by combining two ingredients. You'll need to get the Cookbook key item and give it to Zess T. After completing Chapter 4, you can pick up the "Seeking legendary book!" At the Trouble Center. The Cookbook is found in the first hall of Creepy Steeple in a hidden room. You can reach this room by rolling under the wall in Tube Mode.
You can get the Cookbook before accepting the "Seeking legendary book!" Trouble.
When cooked by itself or with a Turtley Leaf, Jammin' Jelly will make Fresh Juice. Here's a full list of recipes that use Jammin' Jelly as well as their effects:

What Should You Cook?
Jammin' Jelly works fine alone as the 50FP restore makes it one of the best recovery items in-game. The recommended items you'll want are Jelly Ultra and Jelly Candy.
- The 50HP and 50FP replenish from a Jelly Ultra will be more than enough if you're prioritizing Badge Points (BP) over HP and FP. One Jelly Ultra will restore Mario and his partner to complete recovery. Unfortunately, Ultra Mushrooms are just as expensive as Jammin' Jelly, so it can get expensive very quickly. You can substitute a Jelly Ultra for a Jelly Super, which restores less HP than a Jelly Ultra. However, Super Mushrooms are cheaper than their Ultra-counterparts.
- Jelly Candy restores the most FP out of any item in Thousand-Year Door. Its second ingredient (ie: Cake Mix) is also easy to get. You need to exchange 6 Piantas at the Pianta Parlor to get one Cake Mix. You can win Pianta Tokens, or you can purchase them from the giant Pianta Machine. Buying Cake Mix is much cheaper than buying Ultra Mushrooms to make Jelly Ultra.
