In Palworld, Arsox is a four-legged fiery creature akin to a fluffy ram that's hot to the touch. However, knowing where to find
Arsox is sometimes tricky, given Palworld's massive map. Arsox also presents some other challenges as a beast that's a bit tougher to catch than some of the other early-game Pals.
Palworld: How to Get Flame Organ
If you want to craft a fire bow and arrows, you'll need to learn how to get Flame Organ in Palworld. Here are two ways you can obtain this ingredient.
However, finding and catching Arsox can be beneficial as one of the best Pals for your base in Palworld. Arsox has some handy skills and stats, making it an ideal multitasker for base management and a decent fighter to keep in your back pocket. Fortunately, there are a few handy tips that make tracking down and grabbing Arsox a bit easier.
Where to Find Arsox in Palworld
Arsox Location In Palworld
While there's a chance of hatching Arsox from a Scorching Egg, a more reliable method is to search the map. To find Arsox in the wild, head northeast past the stretch of islands to a bone-ridden area called Verdant Brook. Crossing the waters here takes you to the map's fire region with boiling-hot lava rivers. Here, you can find all kinds of Palworld's Kindling pals, including groups of Arsox roaming the fiery lands, which you can explore freely without any specific armor requirements.
Once you've caught at least one Arsox, you can use the habitat map in the Paldeck, as pictured below, to find more spawning points to the west and north.
How to Catch Arsox
For the best chances of catching Arsox, you need at least one of Palworld's Megaspheres, as using a standard Palsphere isn't powerful enough. Grab a pal buddy with a decent attack to weaken Arsox, such as Daedream, while shooting powered-up shots with a bow and arrow like the Three Shot Bow. However, watch out for Arsox's powerful charging and projectile attack, which you can easily dodge with a side-flip.
Once its health severely drops, throw a Megasphere to catch Arsox. However, you might need to try this more than once for the best chance of success. You should be able to catch Arsox with a Megasphere, but if that's unsuccessful, a Gigasphere is your best bet. If killed, Arsox drops Horns or Flame Organs.
Palworld: How To Get Horns
There are many materials that players can gather in Palworld that have many uses, and Horns are one of them.
Arsox Skills, Stats, and Work Suitability in Palworld
Arsox is a kindling and lumbering pal, making it an ideal Pal to keep around your base, as it can chop down trees for Wood and ignite fires to produce various crafting materials. It is also better at producing resources via the Primitive Furnace more efficiently as a level 2 kindling pal, such as Palworld' s Ingots made from Ore.
Arsox also has the below Active Skills, plus an empty skill slot, making it quite a nifty fighter to have on hand to help protect your base or otherwise:
- Ignis Blast - Ball of fire projectile attack with 30 power.
- Blazing Horn - A fiery charge attack against an enemy with 50 power.
Arsox also has a Passive Skill called Sadist that increases its attacks by 15% but decreases its defense by 15%. You can also equip Arsox with a saddle as a mount.
