A Palworld player has put together a list of features and content spotted in some of its early trailers that aren't in the game yet. Palworld is an early access game, which means that it's still missing a lot of its features. New Palworld updates will be released over time that add new content to the game, eventually bringing it to its 1.0 release.
Developer Pocketpair has released a Palworld content roadmap to give fans an idea of what to expect from the open world survival game. The team's first priority is squashing Palworld's bugs, but when that's done, it will look at adding new features to the game. Some of the promised new Palworld features include a PvP arena, new Pals, new islands to explore, and Raid bosses for endgame players.
It's possible that there are even more Palworld features on the way, as many things spotted in the game's early trailers aren't actually available yet. This was pointed out by Reddit user Unhappy_Panic_1875, who created a slideshow highlighting some of the features from early Palworld trailers that have yet to make their debut. Some of the more interesting items include a rideable cart pulled by Direhowls, a sniper rifle with a scope, a lasso, the ability to build rocket ships, fishing, ships, a floating sky kingdom, and a gigantic whale-like Pal that can apparently fly.
List of Missing Palworld Features
- Rideable cart pulled by Direhowls
- Advanced Pengullet building system
- Great House Architecture
- Shaving Lamball to get wool
- Mozzarina mowing wheat crops
- Direhowl belly rubs
- Pal transportation cage
- Village destruction
- Jormuntide Tamer
- Sniper rifle with scope
- Lasso
- Improved gardening
- Rockets
- Giant whale-like Pal
- Floating sky kingdom
- Enemy hideouts
- Fighting arena
- Fishing
- Ships
- Mysterious new location
Now, it's possible some of these features will come to Palworld as part of future updates. In fact, it's already been confirmed that Palworld is getting a PvP arena, presumably similar to the one spotted in the early trailers. However, it's also possible that some of these ideas have been scrapped and won't actually be featured in the game. Fans should keep that in mind before getting too excited about any of these potential features, as some may wind up left on the cutting room floor.
Regardless, it will be very exciting to see how Palworld evolves. Palworld may not be the top Steam game like it was at the time of its release, but it's easy to see how future updates could very easily bring lapsed players back into the fold.
