Summary
- A Palworld fan artist created a human version of Lunaris, drawing inspiration from the original design.
- Palworld remains popular with new updates and a community of fans creating fan art.
A Palworld fan artist took to social media to share a drawing they created, which depicted what they believed the moon-themed Pal Lunaris would look like as a human girl. The Palworld fan artist was complimented by other players for their handiwork, with some comparing the human Lunaris to other popular characters.
Drawing inspiration from various creatures like rabbits and cats, Lunaris is a Neutral Element Pal that can use a variety of attacks. Although Lunaris cannot fly like winged Pals, it levitates off the ground and can use gravity-based moves to bring foes to its level. Lunaris' Antigravity Partner Skill also has a use outside of combat, as it increases Palworld players' maximum carrying capacity by a small amount. A Level 32 Alpha Lunaris can be battled and caught in the Sealed Realm of the Esoteric instanced dungeon, located in the Sea Breeze Archipelago on the southwestern side of the Palpagos Islands map.
Palworld Addresses 'Pokemon With Guns' Description
Pocketpair addresses Palworld’s “Pokemon with guns” label, sharing the team’s stance and revealing the game’s true inspiration.
Though Neutral Element Pals like Lunaris exhibit some human-like behaviors, a Palworld fan artist used their talents to give Lunaris a human form. On the r/Palworld subreddit, Reddit user Thenidielle shared a hand-drawn "gijinka" depiction of what Lunaris could look like as a human girl. The blue gems embedded in Lunaris' head and neck were kept in place, and Lunaris' long ears were changed to a twin-tailed hairstyle that extended across its entire body. Lunaris' hair was colored silver, with black and teal highlights on the ends.

Lunaris' horns were changed to hair ties, and it was given an earring shaped like a crescent moon. The Human Lunaris wore a navy outfit consisting of a long-sleeved top with an exposed midriff and a skirt to match. Lunaris was also drawn with thigh-high transparent stockings along with navy blue socks. Thenidielle added their signature to Lunaris' skirt, which was shown as a teal-colored star. The top left of the drawing included Lunaris' in-game model from Palworld as a point of comparison.
Thenidielle commented that it was their first time drawing a Palworld character and stated they would be open to drawing other Pals down the road. In response, Palworld fans expressed their excitement at the Lunaris "gijinka" artwork, with one user comparing it to the popular character Hatsune Miku due to the hairstyle and colors that Thenidielle used.
With Palworld continuing to release several patches in its lead-up to a full release, Pocketpair's hit title shows no signs of slowing down in 2025. It remains to be seen what Palworld fans will create as more Pals are introduced in future updates.
