Palworld offers a wide array of accessories to aid players on their adventures throughout the Palpagos Islands. From pendants enhancing HP, Attack, Defense, and Work Speed to undershirts providing additional heat or cold resistance for better survival in harsh environments, the options are diverse. Among these, one accessory stands out: the Ring of Mercy.

In Palworld, the Ring of Mercy is a game-changer accessory that, when equipped, ensures that the wearer's attacks never drop a target Pal's HP below 1. For this reason, it becomes invaluable for players having trouble catching Pals either because of their high damage or their target's level being too low. This may happen if you end up discovering a lucky pal while exploring starting areas or going up against low-level alpha bosses in the open world and dungeons.

Reducing a wild Pal's health to 1 dramatically increases your chances of successfully capturing it. If your strong firearms or partner Pals end up killing Pals regularly, then the Ring of Mercy will definitely become one of your favorite accessories in Palworld.

Bellanoir is the first raid boss battle in Palworld. Defeating it will be difficult, but capturing it and earning its rewards is worth the challenge.

How to Unlock Ring of Mercy in Palworld

Palworld - Unlocking Ring of Mercy

Unlike most other accessories, the Ring of Mercy is a craftable piece of gear in Palworld. To unlock its recipe, players must first reach level 19. After reaching the required level, go to the Technology tab and scroll down to tier 19 to find the Ring of Mercy in the Ancient Technology column.

You will have to spend two Ancient Technology points to unlock the recipe for the Ring of Mercy. After unlocking the recipe, you will need to collect the following ingredients to craft one Ring of Mercy:

  • 30 Ingots, which are obtained by refining ores.
  • 20 Paldium Fragments, which are crafted using stones and obtained from mining Paldium ores.
  • 5 Ancient Civilization Parts, which dropped by Alpha Pals.

Once you have all the crafting materials, go to a High-Quality Workbench or a better crafting bench to make the Ring of Mercy. From there, you can now go to your inventory and equip the Ring of Mercy to one of your two accessory slots.

How to Buy Ring of Mercy in Palworld

Palworld - Buy Ring of Mercy

Unlocking the Ring of Mercy in Palworld isn't limited to crafting alone; players can also acquire it through alternative means. Wandering Merchants scattered across the Palpagos Islands offer this coveted accessory for sale, albeit at a substantial cost of 30,000 gold coins.

Now, if you're just starting out in the game, collecting that much gold might feel like trying to climb a mountain with no gear. So, this buying option is more suited for players who've been around the block and have reached the later stages of the game. They might find themselves low on Ancient Technology points, which are needed to craft the Ring of Mercy. Plus, there are plenty of other cool things to unlock before you go for the Ring of Mercy recipe

Players that aren't willing to give up an accessory slot to assign the Ring of Mercy, there's a nifty alternative. Some Pals you come across will have a special skill called Mercy Hit. It basically does the same thing as the Ring of Mercy, making sure a pal's HP never drops below 1 during a battle.
