How to Obtain Cotton Candy

Woolipop in Palworld

There are two methods that you can use, one of which allows you to passively farm this consumable. In fact, you will need to use the first method to get access to the second, so let's talk about each of them in more detail.

Catch or Kill Woolipop

The first and more time-consuming way is to get Cotton Candy as loot from Woolipop. You can either kill or capture this Pal, but it is recommended to add it to your Paldeck collection, because you can then use it for the second method. It's not difficult to find Woolipop, and in the screenshot above you will see the spawning locations for this Pal. Catching it is also easy, because Woolipop is usually of a low level. Even with the most primitive Pal Sphere, you have high chances.

The chance of dropping Cotton Candy is 100%, regardless of whether you kill or catch a Woolipop. In addition, you can also get Woolipop by breeding different Pals. Here are all the possible combinations:

  • Chikipi + Celaray
  • Chikipi + Melpaca
  • Lamball + Eikthyrdeer
  • Cattiva + Caprity
  • Teafant + Melpaca
  • Cattiva + Eikthyrdeer
  • Rooby + Gumoss

Produce on Base Using Ranch

A much more efficient alternative would be to produce this consumable yourself. To do this, you will need two things: Woolipop and Ranch. If you go to Paldeck and find Woolipop there, you will see that it has Farming as Work Suitability. The product that Woolipop produces is Cotton Candy, so you can simply place this Pal on Ranch and passively farm this consumable.

To accomplish this, you will first need to build a Ranch. Fortunately, this is not difficult. This structure will be available to you from the beginning, namely, after reaching level 5. Unlock the Ranch in the Technology tab using Technology Points, and eventually, you can build it, provided you have the following resources:

When you are done building the Ranch, assign Woolipop to work on your base. If this Pal doesn't go to the Ranch right away, just pick it up and bring it to that structure. This way, you can even create a separate base with only a few Ranches and 10 Woolipop that will constantly produce Cotton Candy.
