What are Ancient Technology Points in Palworld?

In Palworld, recipes can be broken down into two distinct categories. The first is the normal section, where players can gain access to more craftable items that can be placed at base to help with production and storage. Technology Points are more easily gained, being granted as players level up, capturing Pals, and finding fast travel points.

On the other hand, there is a column of more powerful utility items and structures that can only be unlocked using Ancient Technology Points. They include grappling guns, the Egg Incubator, the Pal Essence Condenser, various Feed Bags, and more. As such, they are not meant to be easily gained, and players will have to get busy in order to earn this resource.

Getting Ancient Technology Points in Palworld

The only possible way thus far to earn Ancient Technology Points in Palworld is to defeat the various Syndicate bosses that occupy various towers across the land. The first players will likely encounter are Zoe and Grizzbolt, and defeating them will grant five Ancient Technology Points.

This can be a tough fight, so make sure you are well-equipped and have a good group of Pals to call upon in battle. This advice applies to all encounters with Syndicate bosses, so you have been warned. With enough Ancient Technology Points in hand, players can then start unlocking those cool new recipes found in the menu.

Do note that many of these recipes will require the vital Ancient Civilisation Parts. These are gathered by defeating the regional Alphas that can be found around the world. They are quite easy to spot, since they are larger variants of other Pals that can be seen in the game. Beating them will see drops of Ancient Civilisation Parts, allowing players to craft new toys to play with.
