Palworld: How to Beat Marcus & Faleris

To finish a playhtrough of Palworld,, you will need to defeat all the tower bosses, of which there are five in total. If you take them one by one according to your level, Marcus and Faleris will be the fourth enemy you'll face. The battle will be difficult and definitely not for beginners.

In the 10 minutes allotted for the battle, you will need to deal about 150,000 damage to defeat the enemies, so you have to be properly prepared. Luckily, we will provide you with all the necessary tips.

Marcus & Faleris: Preparation

Pals

The first thing to start with is Faleris, the Pal that Marcus employs. Faleris is a Fire-type Pal, so you'll need to bring a few Water-type Pals to get an advantage. The following Pals will be great choices for this battle:

Suzaku Aqua
Jormuntide
Penking

Also, it is recommended to bring Kelpsea to the team. Its Partner Skill increases all Water attacks, so the others can hit much more strongly.

Equipment

To successfully face this boss, your level should be at least 46. If it's lower, don't worry too much. A lot of this battle depends on your skills and reaction. But, if you have reached level 46, then you have probably unlocked most of the items available in the game. If so, take the following items into battle:

Assault Rifle: This powerful weapon has a high fire rate, perfect for hitting a flying Pal. Don't forget to bring at least 800–1000 bullets.
Hyper Shield: The best shield in the game, this is a must-have not only for boss battles, but also for traveling around the world.
Heat Resistant Refined Metal Armor: This strong and reliable armor that will protect you from the hot environment on the way to the boss, as well as provide damage absorption during the boss fight.
Refined Metal Helm: Don't forget to protect your head; this is the best available option.
Attack Pendant: This item is quite difficult to find, but will be extremely useful in battle, as it will increase the damage you deal.

Marcus & Faleris Boss Fight

As mentioned above, you will need to deal about 150,000 damage in 10 minutes to win this battle. You should be quick and decisive, so here are some tips which will help you in the battle.

Dodge: First, you need to take care of the player character's safety. Faleris has plenty of powerful attacks in its arsenal, both targeted and AoE. Be sure to use dodging to avoid most of them, and not suffer a quick defeat.
Use the environment: Although there aren't many structures in the arena, some of them can help you in battle. Columns will be a great defense against most enemy attacks, so hide behind them if you don't have time to dodge.
Hit the weak point: The Achilles' heel of this boss is Marcus himself. When attacking the boss, try to aim at him. This way, you will deal much more damage.
Protect your Pals: For most of the battle, you will use your Pals not only as weapons, but also as shields to avoid being a constant target. Despite this, you'll also need to protect your Pals. If you see an enemy attack on the way, hide them in a sphere to avoid damage and then release them back out to attack the enemy again.
Concentrate: You need to be as focused as possible on the battlefield to react to all enemy attacks and protect yourself and your Pals. The better you are at concentrating and reacting to every move of your opponent, the longer you can survive on the battlefield.
