Part of the appeal to Palworld is the open-world aspect of the game, enabling you to roam and explore the islands at your own pace. However, one of the most frustrating parts of taking a lengthy trip away from your Base is the lack of ability to quickly travel back, especially if there is no fast travel point nearby.

Thankfully, there is one item that can make your adventures much less of a hassle. By unlocking and crafting the Homeworld Thundercloud, you will be able to instantly teleport back to your Base, no matter where you are on the Palworld world map. For this reason, knowing how to obtain it as soon as possible will come in handy.

After crafting this item, you will very likely be eager to try it out for yourself. Luckily, using the Homeworld Thundercloud is incredibly easy. All you'll need to do is set out on an adventure to capture new Pals, take on boss fights, or explore the islands. Once you're ready to return to your Base, simply open your bag click on the Homeworld Thundercloud item, and then confirm your choice to teleport back to your base - easy as that!

This comes in particularly handy if you're hunting down specific resources or searching for rare Pals, as some creatures will only appear in the wild during a certain time of day, or in one very small area within the world. Having the Homeworld Thundercloud added to your inventory means that you don't have to worry as much about planning your resources such as food and exploration items for such a massive journey, as you can instead travel from your base to the nearest Fast Travel point to where you wish to go, explore the intended zone, and then instantly teleport back to your base once you've achieved whatever you need to do.
