How to Unlock the Grappling Gun in Palworld
Like most items in Palworld, the Grappling Gun isn't something players unlock right after diving into the game. A player must reach level 12 to open it. Once done, players can then see this item in the Technology menu.
Additionally, this item falls under the category of Ancient Technology. Hence, unlocking the Grappling Gun requires players to defeat bosses, helping them earn some Ancient points. Once players have completed the above-mentioned requirements, they can now craft the Grappling Gun.

How to Use the Grappling Gun
Unlike other weapons and guns in Palworld, the Grappling Gun serves a different purpose. Instead of fighting off enemies, its efficiency lies in increasing movement. Hence, by acquiring this item, players can easily maneuver the vast map that Palworld offers.
To use the Grappling Gun on a PC, simply aim at an object with the right-click, and use the left-click to shoot the hook. If a player is close enough to an object, the hook will instantly latch itself onto it, making the player quickly move toward the intended direction.
One thing to note here, however, is that the Grappling Gun has a 12-second cooldown after firing a hook.
