While the crafting and building system in Palworld is painfully slow if you do it by yourself, it gets a lot easier once your base is full of Pals who can assist with labor. Having more Pals means having more helping hands, and if you want them to be at peak performance every day, building Fluffy Pal Beds is the way to go.
Palworld's Early Access May Have Already Cleared One of its Most Important Hurdles
Palworld's recently launched early access has drawn huge amounts of attention, and the game has potentially already overcome a significant challenge.
Unlike the plain straw bed, Palworld's Fluffy Pal Beds are more comfortable and easier on the eyes. While they do cost more to make, it's worth using these in your base builds since they're also more beneficial to your Pals. Here's how to make some.
How to Make Fluffy Pal Beds (& What They're For)
The
Fluffy Pal Bed blueprint is unlocked at Level 24, which means you'll have to stick with straw beds first as you level up. If you're itching to level up fast in Palworld, try catching 10 of every Pal you find for a generous bump of extra EXP. Once you do reach Level 24, make sure to have have some spare Tech Points to actually unlock the blueprint.
To craft a Fluffy Pal Bed, you'll need the following materials:

If you're going to craft fluffy beds in bulk, then getting Nails will likely require the most work. They're made from Ingots, which are typically used en masse to make other Palworld items like guns and ammo.
Unfortunately, you can't just directly upgrade any of the straw beds. You'll need to dismantle the old beds to make room for these new, fluffier ones, or just keep them as-is if you need the bedspace. Either way, once you have the materials, pick a flat piece of land or floor, then place the Fluffy Pal Bed as you would any other building.
Fluffy Pal Beds act as better beds for the Pals you catch — these restore more SAN to any Pal that sleeps on it. This is great if you notice that your base workers are getting stressed out more often than usual, and Fluffy Pal Beds are especially useful if you set your Pals to work on harsher conditions via the Monitor Stand. Make sure to have a large stockpile of food as well before you increase their workload. Additionally, you're going to need to make two Fluffy Pal Beds to level up your base, so it's best to have them ready as soon as possible.
