There are many different types of Pals for players to encounter in Palworld, and each can be categorized by an overall element that determines the strengths and weaknesses of a given Pal. While not generally as powerful in combat as Fire or Water element Pals, Grass type Pals can be extremely useful for a range of other purposes such as medicine production and healing, and therefore should not be overlooked when creating an optimized, functioning team.
Grass Pals will be particularly useful when combatting Ground types, but are especially vulnerable to fire and will only do half the damage against enemies of the Fire type. Fortunately, this makes them relatively easy to capture with a few accompanying Fire Pals, and it is well worth seeking out some of these specialists for their unique Active and Partner Skills.
8 Elizabee
- Location: Devout Mineshaft
Elizabee is a powerful combat Pal who can be made even better with the addition of Beegarde servants. When Beegardes are in the player's party along with Elizabee, she will receive a large bonus as will her minions, leading to an overall devastating force of soldiers to contend with.
While suited to a range of work including Planting, Handiwork, Lumbering, Medicine, and Gathering, Elizabee's greatest strengths lie in her combat Active Skills, with the Spinning Lance and Solar Blast being particularly devastating.
7 Robinquill
- Location: Mount Flopie
Robinquill is a great all-round Pal suited to a range of different uses. While they are not the strongest combatants, they can still hold their own with a range of powerful Grass abilities, including Grass Tornado and Seed Mine. The Hawk Eye Partner Skill will enable players to do additional damage when targeting enemy weak points, so long as Robinquill is in the team.
Palworld: Hardest Alpha Pals, Ranked
Alpha pals are difficult to defeat, but their abilities make it worth the effort for Palworld players.
Robinquill can make for excellent base workers and are adept in Planting, Gathering, Handiwork, Lumbering, Transporting, and Medicine Production. Another variant, the Robinquill Terra, is even more effective in combat, with several Ground abilities in addition to Grass Element attacks.
6 Wumpo Botan
- Location: Wildlife Sanctuary 2
Wumpo Botan is a tough Pal to catch but makes an excellent addition to any Paldeck thanks to a range of useful abilities. With a combination of Grass and Water Active Skills, such as Aqua Gun and Aqua Burst, Wumpo Botan can make a great combat ally, and the Guardian of the Grassy Fields Partner Skill enables the creature to be ridden, while simultaneously increasing the player's overall carrying capacity.
This creature is suited to a range of different work including Transporting, Lumbering, Handiwork, and Planting. Though difficult to obtain, it is well worth the hunt to seek out a Wumpo Botan and obtain it, as they are one of the strongest units in the game when it comes to working around a base.
5 Petallia
- Location: Wildlife Sanctuary 1
Petallia is one of the more humanoid Pals in the game and is a useful healer with solid all-around stats. With a range of very powerful Active Skills including Bubble Blast and Spine Vine, Petallia makes a capable combatant, with healing abilities that could be considered a bonus.
Palworld: 8 Pals You Should Sell
Some Pals in Palworld aren't as useful as others, and selling them for a quick buck can be the best use for them.
The Blessing of the Flower Spirit Partner Skill will use medicinal flowers to restore the player's HP when activated. Petallia can also be bred using a Celaray and Univolt to hatch a Huge Verdant Egg. This Pal is also suited to a range of work, including Planting, Gathering, Handiwork, Medicine Production, and Transporting.
4 Vaelet
- Location: Sea Breeze Archipelago
"The King's Flower," 
Vaelet, is a powerful Grass type Pal who specializes in combat but can work in a variety of ways around a base as well. In addition to having some powerful Grass attacks such as Seed Mine and Solar Blast, Vaelet also has several Dark Active Skills, including Poison Blast and Nightmare Ball.
The Purification of Gaia Partner Skill will cause Earth Pals to drop additional loot when defeated, which isn't necessarily the best Partner Skill unless players are specifically seeking out this type. As well as solid combat stats, Vaelet is also suited to work in Planting, Gathering, Medicine, Handiwork, and Transporting.
3 Mossanda
- Location: Mossanda Forest
This somewhat cute, somewhat psychotic panda is a strong Grass element Pal who can be used as a mount, combatant, or base worker. Players who craft the Mossanda's Grenade Launcher Pal Gear will be able to ride 
Mossanda and simultaneously fire a grenade launcher.
Mossanda's Active Skills include the Stone Cannon and an exclusive Grass Skill called Crushing Punch. Crushing Punch is one of the best Active Skills available to any Pal and can punch enemies a considerable distance, often leading to funny moments of gameplay. In addition to these combat skills, Mossanda is also suited to Transporting, Lumbering, Handiwork, and Planting.
2 Lyleen
- Location: Wildlife Sanctuary 3
Lyleen is one of the tougher Pals to catch in the game, located in a far corner to the northeast of the Sand Dunes. As one of the best healing Pals in the game, it is well worth making the trip, and players should bring Fire Pals with them to help take it down.
The Harvest Goddess Partner Skill will restore the player's HP when activated and needs no Pal Gear to be crafted to unlock it. Lyleen comes equipped with most of the standard Grass Active Skills and is also suited to work in Planting, Gathering, Handiwork, and Medicine Production.
1 Warsect
- Location: Wildlife Sanctuary 2
Warsect is by far the most powerful combat Grass type Pal in the game and is therefore very difficult to defeat at first. Active Skills include the exclusive Giga Horn attack, as well as Rock Lance, Stone Cannon, and Solar Blast.
Palworld: 7 Pals That Are Terrible For Combat
Unlike Pokemon, Palworld is as much as survival game as it is an RPG where Pals battle for supremacy. As such, not every Pal is suited for combat.
If successfully tamed, Warsect can be used in the player's team and can use the Hard Armor Partner Skill, which greatly increases the player's defensive stats as well as applying fire damage to all player attacks. Warsect can also be used for Transporting, Lumbering, Handiwork and Planting work around the player's base.
