Summary
- Fire-type Pals in Palworld are strong and essential for building sturdy weapons and armor. They are resistant to freezing in frigid regions, making them useful for exploration.
- Each Fire-type Pal has its own unique active skill, such as Blazing Horn or Hellfire Claw, which can be used strategically in battles.
- Some Fire-type Pals, like Faleris, have incredibly powerful signature moves like Phoenix Flare or Fire Ball, which can deal high damage to enemy Pals.
There are many different elemental types of Pals roaming Palworld, all coming with their own strengths and weaknesses. Most of these elemental types suffer from one elemental weakness, while they are strong against another — except for Neutral, which doesn't have super-effectiveness over any type. Fire-type Pals are among some of the strongest in the game, and their ability for Kindling is essential to building sturdy weapons and armor.
Fire types are extremely resourceful when it comes to producing Flame Organs, either by defeating them or catching and farming a Pal like Flambelle. Keeping warm is also essential when traveling to the frigid regions of Palworld, and saddling up with a Fire-type Pal will prevent players from freezing. Active skills are key to setting up the best Fire friend, and these moves will make good use of strong Attack stats.
Palworld Broke Its Concurrent Player Record Yet Again
Palworld has once again shattered its own concurrent player record on Steam, with millions of players trying out the massively popular new release.
8 Blazing Horn
Takes aim and rushes at an enemy with a mad dash
- Power: 50
- Cast Time: 9 Seconds
Arsox is an excellent step up from the common Fire-type Pals like Foxparks and Flambelle, as its increase in strength and ability to ride on its back make it a worthy ally. It also has the Blazing Horn Active Skill, which is its signature move, making Arsox the only Pal to learn it. Using Blazing Horn will have players rushing at the enemy with a fiery aura surrounding them, and slamming head first directly into the foe. It's also an excellent way of escaping a tough situation, as players can saddle up to Arsox and aim the Blazing Horn away from danger.
7 Hellfire Claw
Draws near enemies using its left claw to slash them into the air before cutting them down with its right claw
- Power: 70
- Cast Time: 10 Seconds
Hellfire Claw is Incineram's exclusive move, sharing it with the Incineram Noct variant. This powerful move launches enemy Pals into the air with one swipe of the claws, before slicing it with a second swing as it lands. The ten-second cast time allows players to use this attack multiple times in one minute, which can make all the difference on the battlefield. Incineram can be found in the wild, in dungeons, and as an Alpha Boss.
6 Daring Flames
Charges forward with great speed while clad in intense blue flames
- Power: 75
- Cast Time: 10 Seconds
One of the more unique Fire-type Pals in Palworld, Kitsun's blue flames are sure to burn anything it touches, thanks to Daring Flames. This is Kitsun's signature move, utilizing its blazing speed to dash towards an enemy while its blue flames are ignited. It's slightly stronger than Incineram's Hellfire Claw with an identical charge time, and it can also be used to escape a tricky situation. Kitsun can be hatched from Large Scorching Eggs, and their saddle allows players to ride them, while ignoring both hot and cold temperatures.
5 Ignis Slam
Charges forward while clad in a veil of flames. Flames continue to burn in its wake
- Power: 85
- Cast Time: 14 Seconds
Pyrin's signature move, Ignis Slam, will devastate wild Pals with just one or two attempts, thanks to an 85-based power. The casting time is slightly longer than Daring Flames and Hellfire Claw, but the move hits harder, and its Partner Skill serves as a perfect combination. Red Hare allows players to mount Pyrin, turning their own attacks into Fire-type attacks, while also granting a significant boost to its strength. Grass Pals beware, Pyrin and its Ignis Slam will torch them down in an instant.
4 Iaigiri
He appears in front of the enemy in an instant and unleashes an ultra-fast sword draw attack
- Power: 65
- Cast Time: 9 Seconds
Bushi is one of the more unique Fire-type Pals in the game, and it's samurai-esque style serves it well with quick and pre-emptive attacks. Iaigiri, when done well, can send Bushi to a nearby Pal, swipe it with force, and then return to its owner. This quick strike will activate combat, but will also allow players to remain at a distance in order to chip away at the enemy Pal before it closes the gap. The 65 power is a notch below the others, but it's nine-second charge time can allow Bushi to land several strikes consecutively, while the player launches an assault of their own.
3 Volcanic Burst
It simultaneously bombards them with volcanic bombs from abov
- Power: 100
- Cast Time: 45 Seconds
The first Pal to breach the 100-point damage range is Reptyro, due to its signature move, Volcanic Burst. This tremendous attack creates a volcanic eruption, while launching lava bombs from the air, attacking enemy Pals in two different ways. Its charge time of 45 seconds makes it a move to use towards the end, or to turn the tables, and having a second, shorter-charge attack, is something to consider. Thankfully, Reptyro can be bred and hatched from Large Scorching Eggs, or taken down as an Alpha Boss in the Cavern of the Dunes dungeons.
2 Phoenix Flare
Covers its body in a tornado of flames before charging forward
- Power: 135
- Cast Time: 28 Seconds
Heralded as the best Fire-type move in Palworld, Phoenix Flare is the signature move of Faleris, and packs a whopping 135-based power. What makes this attack so unique is the combination of strength and short casting time of 28 seconds, making it possible to knock out enemy Pals in a matter of moments. Phoenix Flare is also available via Skill Fruit, and can be passed over during the breeding phase, but only Faleris can learn it naturally. Players can find Faleris towards the eastern edge of the No. 3 Wildlife Sanctuary island.
1 Fire Ball
Creates a giant ball of flame and hurls it at an enemy
- Power: 150
- Cast Time: 55 Seconds
Technically, the strongest attack of the Fire element belongs to Fire Ball, with its 150-based power. It does come with a charge time of 55 seconds, which means players can land two consecutive Phoenix Flare attacks at nearly the same pace as one Fire Ball. What works in Fire Ball's favor is that many Fire-type Pals can learn it naturally — 10 in total, including Vanwyrm and Wixen. Considering Incineram is one of those Pals, combining its Hellfire Claw with Fire Ball could make it one of the most deadliest weapons in the game.
