Players who've come to enjoy and explore the worlds of Palworld will realize that there are many things to do. From discovering the best Pals for combat or labor to creating and fortifying personalized bases, people can spend hours and still not see everything the game has. However, one aspect seems underdeveloped and underutilized, a particular base-building feature that Pocketpair should consider working on. If touched upon more by the developer, it may lead to interesting changes that can boost the overall immersive experience of the game.

A base in Palworld is more than just a place to sleep and automate the gathering of resources, it is an opportunity to display one's creativity and imaginative ideas. Regardless of the limitations, players have been able to build interesting and unique creations. However, they may have been able to make something even better if Pocketpair decided to focus on the base-building aspect of the game, especially the part that involves the unlockable decor. Though there are many that players can put in their bases, they ultimately serve no purpose other than items to be stared at. Should these special types of furnishing be changed to become interactable, they could inspire even more bases with compelling designs and help them feel more alive.

How Palworld Can Change Some of Its Decor to Become Worthwhile Interactable Pieces

There are items in Palworld that players shouldn't waste resources on, and as they are now, the decor may be considered one of them. Though they provide an aesthetic purpose, the time, effort, and materials required to unlock and build things that essentially do nothing but look pretty may not seem worthwhile. However, this does not have to be the case, as giving them the following changes could turn them into must-haves for any base-builder:

  • Tying some of them, like the Claw Crane or the Soccer Goal, to have mini-games so that there are other activities aside from those that are survival or battle-related
  • Having some of them provides unique animation options that players can choose to see, making them more special and worth placing in a base
  • Allowing certain Pals to interact with specific decor, making players want to collect both to see what it is that could happen

Such items that require technology points to unlock may only be decorative pieces and nothing else in their current state, but they have the potential to be more with the right improvements. If Pocketpair does rework how they operate, then there's a high likelihood of seeing more bases with creative designs, turning Palwolrd into more than just a survival and monster-capturing experience.

How Palworld Can Benefit From Having Interactable Decor

Palworld's next major update shouldn't beat around the bush when it comes to bringing in significant changes, which is why Pocketpair should consider the implementation of interactable decor. Such a huge addition to the game will make players constantly look forward to what they can potentially interact with while paving the way for interesting opportunities. For example, the next major update could involve certain decor operating differently depending on the type of terrain they're on, incentivizing players to unlock and collect each item, explore different areas, and perform tests to satiate their curiosity. With such interesting possibilities, the addition of interactable decor can be seen as a huge benefit to the game, enhancing gameplay and giving people more reason to continue playing or giving it a shot.

Palworld has become one of those indie games that became major success stories because of how it uniquely presented itself. To keep up its appeal, it needs to do more than showcase survival and monster-capturing elements, making the addition of interactable decor a viable thing for Pocketpair to do. If they were to be added, they would enhance the base-building experience while helping the game stand out more, maybe
