In Palworld, there are over seventy different Pal Gear items available to unlock and craft as you progress through the game. These Pal Gears operate as Key Items that remain in your inventory and enable you to unlock handy Pal Partner Skills for eligible creatures whenever they are in your active party, such as movement abilities, operating as Pal Mounts for land, air, or water travel, and the use of weapons during combat.

Each Pal Gear item will become available to by spending Technology Points to unlock the craft recipe upon reaching a certain player level. To craft a Pal Gear item, players will need to collect and spend a few materials at a Pal Gear Workbench. In Palworld, each Pal Gear item provides a different skill or use between the player and the Pal in which the Gear has been built for. These uses range from helping the player to traverse the islands quicker by running, jumping, swimming, flying, or gliding, boosting or adding extra damage to player attacks in combat, utilizing man-made weapons to boost damage output, or in some cases, even become a weapon in which the payer can wield.
