Vendetta is an incredibly fun character to play, and she becomes even better in Overwatch Stadium mode. Here, she gets a bunch of powerful perks that supercharge her different playstyles, giving players more options to enjoy her kit. Speaking of playstyles, while you can most definitely find success using any of the ones available to Vendetta, if you want something that's simple and relatively easy to use, here's an Overwatch Vendetta Stadium build that's all about hitting the enemy team hard before dashing away to safety.

Best Vendetta Stadium Build for Overwatch
The following is an AP Vendetta build using Overloaded Strike to deal massive damage before finishing targets off with Projected Edge and escaping or chasing with Whirlwind Dash. This essentially turns Vendetta into an assassin that specializes in hit-and-run tactics. The build is as follows:
Build Code: GKJFX
Powers
- Overhead Strike: Lets you use an enhanced level 1 charge of Sundering Blade, Vendetta's Ultimate, after you use Soaring Slice to leap into the air. Hold your primary attack button after using Soaring Slice to charge Sundering Blade.
- Double Dash: You can cast Whirlwind Dash again for free after using Whirlwind Dash once. The free cast deals less damage, which is fine since we're only going to use this as a chase/escape tool.
- Riposte: Blocking ranged attacks removes the movement speed penalty of Warding Stance and causes Vendetta's next attack to be an Overhead Strike. This is great for finishing off low-health enemies, and the extra forward momentum from Overhead Strike lets you chase targets a little bit better.
- Skycut: Blocking ranged damage makes your next Overhead Strike launch a Projected Edge that deals half damage. This synergizes well with Riposte, giving you an additional opportunity to launch Projected Edge without consuming Warding Stance energy.
You can replace Skycut with Exalted Empress to get bonus Overhealth when you connect with Sundering Blade.
The combo is simple: use Soaring Slice to launch yourself into the air, charge Sundering Slice, and if the target survives, finish them off with Projected Edge. Use Whirlwind Dash to escape or to chase targets that Projected Edge can't quite hit.
Core Items
Since we're playing Vendetta as an assassin with this build, we'll forego defenses in favor of maximum burst damage by using the following core items:
- Chimera Cross: Gain 10% AP. Blocking damage increases your AP by 15% for 5 seconds. Synergizes well with Riposte and Skycut.
- Champion's Kit: Gain 35% AP
- Multi-tool: Gain 10% AP and 5% Cooldown Reduction
Early on, just stack AP until you can afford these items. If you're fighting against strong damage dealers like Sojourn, feel free to grab some Survivability items too.
Flex Items
While the items in the section above are must-haves for the build, the following should be bought based on the match-up you're fighting against.
- Cybervenom: Dealing damage applies 30% Healing Reduction. Use this if the enemy is loaded with healers or other healing effects.
- Lumerico Fusion Drive: Using an ability or gadget restores 50 Armor or Shields over 3 seconds. Get this if you're having trouble escaping.
- Liquid Nitrogen: Ability damage slows enemies.
- Feathered Soles: Activate this gadget to gain 25% Movement Speed for 5 seconds. This works with the Movement Speed penalty removal on Riposte, letting you run away even faster while blocking.
With this, you'll be well on your way to turning Vendetta into one of the best Stadium DPS heroes in Overwatch. Just make sure to focus on enemy DPS and Support players, as you won't have the staying power to take on Tanks.
You can do three back-to-back Sundering Blade hits if you have your Ultimate, by initiating with Soaring Slice and Whirlwind Dash, using your Ultimate, then using Soaring Slice again.
