Overwatch 2 players on Xbox Game Pass can get a significant selection of free skins as long as they maintain an active subscription. Overwatch 2 is finally available to Microsoft's service subscribers, and to celebrate the start of this partnership, Blizzard has been releasing a variety of benefits for players.
Previously, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers had the chance to get an Overwatch 2 bundle with the Legendary skins Junker Queen Executioner and Widowmaker Medusa, and the epic skin Kiriko Visual Kei. For players who connect their Battle.net and Game Pass accounts by November 11, the Cardboard Reinhardt, Turtleship D.Va, Cyberdragon Hanzo, Street Runner Genji, Bee Mercy, and Cleric Lifeweaver skins will be accessible permanently, as well as 30 Mythic Prisms. At the time, Blizzard teased more benefits for Overwatch 2 players, and one of them is already available, albeit with a big catch.
Xbox Game Pass subscribers can access all Overwatch 2 shop skins released over the last three seasons, but they need to keep an active subscription. The text also reveals that in addition to these benefits, Xbox Game Pass subscribers will receive a 10% XP boost, helping them to progress in Overwatch 2's battle pass and the hero shooter's ranks. As for the permanent rewards, Blizzard reiterates that players with a PC subscription will only be able to redeem the rewards via Battle.net. At the same time, subscribers to the console tier will have to redeem them via Xbox. Once they have the skins, Blizzard explains that they will be available on all platforms, but that if accounts are connected after November 11, the benefits will not be granted.
While Xbox Game Pass subscribers can enjoy several opportunities, other players will not be left without benefits. Microsoft Rewards has an epic Overwatch 2 skin and 1000 coins that players can get for free. With the release of the mid-season update 12, the Twitch Drops are back, giving away the popular Legendary Flower Child Mei skin, Sunflower Weapon Charm, and the Grooving Mei emote.
