A credible Overwatch 2 leaker just shared the potential Perks for Wuyang, the new support hero coming in Season 18. If these Perks are real, they give Overwatch 2 players a good idea as to what Wuyang’s abilities are.
Wuyang is the name of Overwatch 2 Hero 44, set to release in Season 18 on August 26. Codenamed “Aqua” during his reveal in the Overwatch 2 Spotlight event, this rebellious scholar of Wuxing University’s Water College has high mobility, damage utility, and a steep learning curve.
Overwatch 2 Disables Popular Map
One of the more popular maps in Overwatch 2 is temporarily disabled after some unexpected interactions caused by a recent update.
Now, some leaks have pulled back the curtain on Wuyang ahead of his official reveal. Wiki_ow, a credible source responsible for many Overwatch 2 leaks that were later confirmed to be true, shared an image of Wuyang's portrait, as well as his four Perks. Though it is unclear what ones are Major or Minor Perks, these choices include Overflow, Ebb and Flow, Balance, and Falling Rain, which restore resources, rewind the Guardian Wave ability, increase healing after dealing damage, and allow the control of three water orbs, respectively.
Leaked Wuyang Perks in Overwatch 2
Taking a deeper look at these Perks starts to reveal how Wuyang might play. It sounds like he will have two different resources: ammo for his primary fire – seemingly the control of water orbs – and charge for a healing secondary fire, possibly called Restorative Stream, that has a passive healing element. Rushing Torrent seems like it is an Overwatch 2 mobility skill like Kiriko’s Swift Step or Lifeweaver’s Rejuvenating Dash, and Guardian Wave could be his ultimate skill, which appears to deal damage as it travels along a trajectory.

It is important to note that these Perks technically may end up being a false leak, or they could change before they are officially released. Additionally, he may have other abilities that are not directly mentioned in these Perks. Either way, fans won’t need to wait too long to find out – Overwatch 2 recently scheduled Wuyang’s trial period for August 14 through 18, meaning players will get to try him about a week ahead of his full release. The support hero’s kit will likely be revealed shortly before then, so fans should keep an eye out to see how accurate these leaks are after Wuyang’s official debut.
