Redditor andrus0n shared a video showing that Venture can reduce their skill cooldowns by 300% with the Excavation Exhilaration Perk. This is one of the minor Perks that Venture can equip at level 2, making their abilities return faster while the ultimate is active. As a result, players can take the opportunity to spam Drill Dash constantly without worrying about the skill becoming unavailable. Using Drill Dash, the hero moves forward, dealing damage and pushing enemies back.
How Venture's Ultimate Works in Overwatch 2
Venture's most powerful ability in Overwatch 2 is Tectonic Shock, their ultimate. Lasting seven seconds, when they activate it, they transform their weapon and launch shockwaves to damage the opposing team. Tectonic Shock can be activated while Venture is underground, and using Drill Dash in this case will make the ability come back faster. Added to the help provided by Excavation Exhilaration, Venture becomes a powerful surprise weapon to emerge and deal big damage to the enemy team.
Perks continue to be one of the most talked-about additions to Overwatch 2 Season 15. In some cases, such as Venture's, the system has given new life to a hero who isn't among the top choices for DPS players because of their high skill gap and an ultimate that isn't as effective as that of other heroes in the same role.
