Overwatch 2 just began a new promotion in which players can get Toxic Bastion as a bonus when purchasing any Blizzard Gear Store merchandise associated with the first-person shooter. From now until June 2, fans who buy Overwatch 2 products on the Blizzard Gear Store can score this Legendary Bastion skin at no additional cost.
Recently, Overwatch 2 launched its mid-Season 16 update. To celebrate the major release, Overwatch 2 is holding a Twitch Drop campaign, along with both the Street Fighter 6 collaboration and a new Overwatch Classic event, all of which give fans the chance to earn Loot Boxes, Battle Pass XP, and other rewards over the next couple of weeks.
Overwatch 2 Releases Mid-Season 16 Update
Overwatch 2 releases a big midseason update for Season 16, including a new crossover event, Mythic Weapon skin, and hero for the Stadium game mode.
Now, Overwatch 2 has begun yet another promotion in which players can score an additional in-game item. From now until June 2 at 9 AM PT, fans who purchase any Overwatch 2 merchandise on the Blizzard Gear Store will receive a code to unlock the Toxic Bastion Legendary skin. This cosmetic transforms Overwatch 2's charming robotic sentry into a horrific machine full of radioactive waste, complete with a human brain in a jar and a plague doctor mask for Ganymede. All Overwatch 2 products qualify for this code, from $15 shirts and $20 mugs to $100 Hammond onesies and $130 military jackets.

Toxic Bastion is a relatively new Legendary Overwatch 2 shop skin originally available during Season 15. It was sold as a part of the Toxic Bundle, which also included a spray, player icon, and name card, along with Toxic Winston and its respective cosmetics. Unfortunately, the matching Toxic Bastion customizations do not appear to be a part of this Blizzard Gear Store giveaway.
While gamers who already own Toxic Bastion won’t receive anything new if they participate in this offer, they could gift the reward code to a friend for them to redeem. Either way, fans who miss out on Toxic Bastion this time may have to wait a while to get him – though Overwatch 2 has historically added old shop skins to Loot Boxes or Hero Gallery, it could be several months to a year or longer before Toxic Bastion will be obtainable again.
