Overwatch 2 has officially revealed more information about its upcoming Street Fighter 6 collaboration, including gameplay footage showing all eight of its crossover skins. The shop bundles featuring these cosmetics, along with an in-game event featuring free unlockable voice lines, sprays, and a player title, will be available in Overwatch 2 from May 20 through June 2.
For the last several seasons, Overwatch 2 has held crossovers with various franchises. Blizzard recently surprised fans with a Street Fighter 6 collab less than a month after the Overwatch 2 x Gundam Wing event, making Season 16 not only the first with two external IP collaborations, but also the first to feature one with a non-Blizzard video game.
Overwatch 2 Reveals Patch Notes for May 15 Stadium Update
Overwatch 2 releases a new hotfix for Stadium that includes buffs, nerfs, and changes to several of the major aspects of the exciting new game mode.
Now, just ahead of the event, Overwatch 2 has revealed in-game footage of the Street Fighter 6 skins coming to the FPS. Eight Overwatch 2 heroes have been transformed into iconic Street Fighter characters, with Ryu Hanzo, Chun-Li Juno, Cammy Widowmaker, Guile Soldier: 76, Dhalsim Zenyatta, M. Bison Sigma, Blanka Winston, and Juri Kiriko all appearing in a gameplay trailer that shows off exactly what the cosmetics will look like in game. With eight completely original skins, the Street Fighter 6 collab is the largest in Overwatch 2 history – even larger than the first LE SSERAFIM event's six.
All Overwatch 2 x Street Fighter Collaboration Skins
- Chun-Li Juno
- Ryu Hanzo
- Dhalsim Zenyatta
- M. Bison Sigma
- Juri Kiriko
- Cammy Widowmaker
- Blanka Winston
- Guile Soldier: 76
Beyond the skins themselves, players can also collect highlight intros, victory poses, and emotes that allow these Overwatch 2 characters to fully embody the Street Fighter 6 combatants. Chun-Li Juno’s lightning-fast kicks, Ryu Hanzo’s Hadokens and Shoryukens, and Dhalsim Zenyatta’s Yoga Flames are just some of the nods to Street Fighter that fans can acquire to better bring the classic fighting game to their Overwatch 2 matches.
The Street Fighter 6 collab skins can all be purchased in the in-game store. Players can pick up each hero’s bundle individually, or in two separate Mega Bundles – one featuring Chun-Li Juno, Ryu Hanzo, Dhalsim Zenyatta, and M. Bison Sigma, and another with Juri Kiriko, Cammy Widowmaker, Blanka Winston, and Guile Soldier: 76. Alternatively, dedicated fans can purchase the Street Fighter 6 Ultra Bundle, which includes all eight skins and their matching cosmetics. Prices won’t be revealed until they hit the shop on May 20, but looking at past Overwatch 2 collab skins, character bundles will likely cost 2800 Overwatch Coins, Mega Bundles 5900, and the Ultra Bundle somewhere around 10,000.
The Overwatch 2 x Street Fighter collab also launches with an in-game event that will run until June 2. Gamers can complete challenges to earn Street Fighter 6-themed sprays, voice lines, and a player title, along with up to 40,000 Battle Pass XP simply by playing the game. Long-time Street Fighter fans and newcomers to the franchise alike won’t want to miss out on this iconic crossover in Overwatch 2.
